I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
@@StephanieRebecca-0 That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
@@StephanieRebecca-0 The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
I am from New Jersey and lived in Jacksonville for 4 yrs. Lived in Bartram Park neighborhood and temporarily moved back to NJ. I am surprised this neighborhood was not mentioned. It is exceptional and affordable. I frequented the Towne Center, Mandarin, Orange Park, Julington Creek, St. Augustine, etc., all are in very close proximity to Bartram Park, which is right on the border of St. John's County. I would not sleep on Bartram Park. Absolutely loved it there and would move back in a heartbeat.
Hi Jovan, thank you for watching! How are you liking Jax so far? How long have you been here? Would love to help you find your home here in Jax. Whenever you're ready. don't hesitate to reach out.
I’ve lived in several great cities. This ain’t one of them. Retail hell, every corner same junkie stores. No one is from here, zero sense of community. Looking forward to moving.
I’m 34 years old I’m looking to relocate my family soon as possible. Jacksonville is my wife’s home town I’m looking to maybe rent till I can mind to buy.

Hi, thanks for watching! This is a video on the top areas that my clients have purchased a home. I would consider eTown a community and thats a video for another day.
ok i get it. arlington has some rough areas. BUT we have riverfront here and some really nice neighborhoods. Houses are built with quality construction, we do not flood, and our traffic is light in comparison. Unfortunately, if u are looking for schools, might want to go private
Hello am looking for a 3bedroom house anywhere in jacksonville coz where am living am not comfortable raising my kid due to security and gangs please get back to me
Hi Justin I have a question do you know my nice her name is Crystal Imhiff she is a realtor in Jacksonville like you are? I'm thinking of moving to Jacksonville.
I like in southern Indiana it's nice here too but my family is in Florida and my sister and her girls live in Jacksonville and I really liked it so I'm thinking of a move in the next few years.
@@patrickodonnell9388 I don't know much about Indiana besides the Indy 500. How is the weather up there? Florida will be a great change of pace, i think. My clients from the North or Midwest say it's a lot slower paced down here and more things to do outdoor. It's nice to be close to family as well.
Southern Indiana is a different life style then around the cities its very quiet for the most part what makes it nice here is all the lakes and the forest plus we have lots of outdoor activities like camping, fishing and hunting and there are lots of offroad trails for bikes and back packing what it doesn't have that you do is the beach and warmth year round. I like Jacksonville but then again I like southern Indiana they both have advantageous. The things I dont like about Florida hurricane season the things I dont like about Indiana tornado season outside of that really like them both.
@@patrickodonnell9388 I think that there are definitely parts of Jacksonville in the outskirts like Callahan, Hilliard, Fernandina, Ponte Vedra where you'll enjoy. It's slower paced and these areas revolve around outdoor living. I've never witnessed a tornado but everything I've seen seems terrifying. Luckily Jacksonville seems to avoid major hurricanes or the storms are weak by the time it makes it up here.
I’ve lived in Jacksonville for 55 years against my better judgement due to my family being military. It has sucked here since the 1970s. It’s dirty, rundown, racially tense, daily shootings, beaches are dirty & dangerous at night, San Marco floods every rain & is surrounded by low income apartments & hospital med center traffic. Rent is skyrocketing, Arlington is predominantly low income w/ lots of drugs & frequent shootings.
Also, Bartram Park area is very nice, on the south side of Jacksonville, just outside of the Mandarin suburb, close to St. John's and Julington Creek areas.
Del Web 55 gated community with every thing Nocatee has except the crazy traffic. Pickle ball, big pool, super fitness center, tennis, bocce ball, food trucks, super friendly neighbors. It is like living in Mayberry, with Andy Griffen as you next door neighbor.
Thank you for watching! I'll definitely be touching on all the Del Webb's in the area in an upcoming video. Which Del Webb do you reside at? One of my recent clients purchased in Del Webb Nocatee and absolutely loves it there.

Hi , so how’s Jacksonville so far? Thinking about moving with my children soon
@@Funtimes900 it’s been wonderful so far! We actually ended up moving to st Augustine (a little south of Jax) and we love it! Very family friendly too
I love Jacksonville, Florida❤
pls recommend me a place to live in jax but near in water pls.
I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.
Haven't heard of it. Sounds like great place I'll have to check it out!
People are way friendlier in Northeast Florida! south Florida is way too crowded
@@Declan_Payan it is very fast paced in South Florida lol
Curious why eTown wasn't mentioned?

Simple, avoid this areas of Jax. North, North West, West side close to downtown, Arlington west of 295..

Fort Caroline (Arlington) is gorgeous. Hilly & eclectic neighborhoods.

What are the safe good places in the city to live in Jacksonville that are family-friendly??
