Hey! What about Baymeadows/Southside??? I love it here. Everything I need is 5 minutes away (church, groceries, doctor, dentist, vet), and a lot of new restaurants have come to this area recently. There are also a lot of new housing starts that are still affordable (but going up). It's right next to I-95, and I-295 is a couple of miles down Baymeadows.
Jacksonville is so underrated. I like that the city is close to the beach (ponte vedra beach for me) and has a pretty nice downtown. If you live on the Southside, you are close to everything. Lastly, the historical charm of Avondale & Riverside is much appreciated.
I've lived in jacksonville 2019 to 2021, I've RUclipsd a ton of cities and this one gets the most hate. People just hate it. Jville beach, st johns, San Marco, riverside, Avondale, Murray Hill, south side are all nice and I lived downtown west Adams St, not much happening there.
As someone who recently took a road trip to Florida and checked out cities for the first time, reading that is surprising to me. Jacksonville impressed me the most of all Florida cities! I really liked the vibe. Tampa and St. Petersburg were letdowns and the southeast coast is a messy pit of despair.
Orange Park has some desirable home areas. First time home buyers can save some money with a fixer upper. What could make this area much more desirable is updating its totally antiquated strip malls that offer little that most consumers desire and parking lots that should have be repaved over 20 years ago, especially along the main intersection of Blanding. Orange Park Mall. like many malls is outdated. Such a waste or prime reality space to have such limited appeal. I see a pottery store on Blanding, near Kingsley that is almost the size of a War-mart with few customers parked outside, even on weekends. When I think about the waste of space in that massive parking lot and not one other business sharing that space, I wonder how they obtained a loan from a bank to have a business on such a large chunk of property, when pottery is not something that people buy. on a regular basis. No bashing to that company intended.
I visited Jacksonville, FL last week. I was there for 1 week. I thought it sucked. Trashy people, too many homeless, and kind of dangerous. I was trying to decide between that and Tampa, I think Tampa is better.

Arlington is ghetto now. I lived in Arlington in 1972 it was nice then. I moved to May Meadows in 1976 and westside in 2919

*Start to slow clap* LOL! Very well said. I couldn't agree with you more.
San Marco and St. Nicholas are also nice historic neighborhoods on the South Bank of St. John's River
Ponte Vedra is the area I'm interested in, those schools are phenomenal. I have to get my kids in there.
@@jerkifer924 Yes, San Marco is cool.
@@emilionarvaez1415 Yes! All the best to you & your kids.

Great video
Thank you so much for watching!!
I like San Marco, what concerns me is when it storms. They are normally underwater.
I would definitely say that is something to consider if you are thinking about moving to the San Marco area.
Thx for this info
Ortega back by the water is so underrated. They have the most beautiful/not rich but Wealthy homes in Jacksonville. That’s old money back there
I agree with everything you said!
Best video with character on jax happenings 👏🏽💯thanks
Thank you for the support! We appreciate it.
We're thinking about relocating to Jax from GA and thinking about renting so we can truly vet the area before purchasing. Do you help with rentals?
Hello! We do not assist with finding rental properties.
That's a good idea renting a piece of property to learn the area before you buy a home in the area.
