Great video! I love exploring and getting off the beaten path when I go fly fishing, but I never really considered looking for forgotten gems like this on my mountain bike. Thanks for sharing this!
I knew you had a channel through watching the other MTB channels and seeing you in a lot of them, but totally didn't think it would be all this huge adventure stuff! Really digging the channel man, watching your other videos too, all so good. I like a good stabilized POV action video of an epic downhill as much as the next guy, but THIS is on a different level.
Glad you're enjoying it! Lots more to come starting in the next week, should be about weekly through the summer! It'll be a mix of backyard stuff with my jumps, and big adventure trips.
Off topic of this video, but you were spotted in Louisville yesterday riding Turkey run silo jump lines. Are you doing a write up on our local trails? Glad you made it out to this part of the woods, enjoy.
Kentucky Adventure Rider I’m going to make a video for the channel from my trip, and will be riding Cherokee Park tomorrow at 6 (Thursday), check the KYMBA Facebook for details!
Bro I cry sometimes watching you raise your kids. Man i am a huge fan. I just got back into biking. I am 47 and was 600 lbs now I am 300 lbs. I wrecked my Giant Yukon hard the other day. Getting back on soon as possible. Any classes you can recommend . I am not adverse to traveling. I am in the central Texas area? Ever heard of the grave yard Trails in Schertz Texas. It is world class and you would love it. Huge fan thanks for the content. My wreck is on my channel if you wanna see a fatbike launch. I was just trying to roll over it. Stomp Strong badass!
@@jaredsears5453 Yeah me too, I need to go back and ride the new section! Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship has a really good relationship with the Forest Service there so they are getting a lot of good work done. Thanks on the channel too, it's been so much fun doing everything with the kids, they are definitely lucky!
The quality of this video is amazing. Thanks for the amazing storytelling.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
This is why I love this sport. It can be about your strava time, or your gear, or how many jumps you clear, or it can be about stuff like this.
Derek VerLee that’s right, there’s room for everyone!!
That must have been such an awesome adventure. Wow.... I’m in total envy. Good stuff love the video too! 🤙🏻
Could not get much better trip than that.
Yeah it was one of my all time favorite trips!
Holy cow! Your video quality has improved drastically in this film! Good job!

@@moritzbokelmann @lordoforeos Yeah I wish I was this good at filming and editing, sometimes it's good to bring in the pros!
I think I love this adventure the most!! So cool!! All though it’s low on manual footy... still looks fun though.
I'll do my best to up the manual count!

So sick. I did that trail over the sardine lakes as well, hard to climb up but fun to go down🤘🤘
Niccolo Defendi-cho nice! Yeah none of the rides on this trip were easy, that’s for sure, all worth it though

Классное трейловое катание.Когда получаешь удовольствие не от скорости и гэпов,а от самого путешествия и красивой природы вокруг тебя)))
Absolutely excellent.

This video is sweet!! Where is that cabin? We have a place in Graeagle and I’ve heard of that cabin, but I haven’t been able to find it yet
I don't know how to get there either, but if you find Kurt with Yuba, I'm sure he could tell you where it is!
Awesome! Thank you so much!
So was that trail just decommissioned to bikes, and just designated as part of the PCT officially?
Yeah it was a trail swap, that became PCT and a part of the PCT switched to bike trail, from what I understand it was a good trade on both ends
@@PorterMTB Awesome! Glad it was a trade. Love the channel! Your kids are living the dream.
