The thing i hated about DQB1 was erasing your town as you moved on.

I so want a dragon quest builders 3!! One where we can use magic and wear a princess dress and have even more different villagers and roles!.. Also give us bigger lands to build with not these weird islands I want to build the entire kingdom of hyrule!

DQB 2 is my wife’s most played Switch game.
Also, you were great in that SE creators react video

Thank you! I didn’t know when that video would come out, but I’m glad you enjoyed it! And if you have a PC and haven’t played the first game, I highly recommend trying it!

This sounds like it's almost a totally different game. Hope these features get updated into the PS4 and Switch

Builders 2 was great! Builders PC was surprisingly modernized? At first, I thought I was remembering things wrong!

As always, another great review! Am I correct in assuming all those great QoL changes are already implemented in DQB2?

The DQB games are the only Minecraft-style titles that ever clicked with me. The (intentional) lack of direction in most games of this subgenre usually has me lose all interest really quickly, but here - especially in DQB2, since its story is actually surprisingly engaging - I could not put the games down once they got going. Hope the series will eventually continue, I adore it.

The Faster Running is also a great feature introduced in the Mobile Version

It's nice to see DQB1 finally get some QoL changes. I wish they would've made it so you can use the building recipes from different chapters to other chapters (Like being able to make stuff from Cantlin to Rimuldar and vice versa) once said chapters are complete. Or at least unlock more recipes after the chapter is completed. Like I'd love to make buildings with windows in Cantlin but the only windows you can make in Cantlin are too big and I don't think you can find them anywhere else either.

I got both DQB 1 and 2 on a Steam sale. I played the first game on the Switch, but got burned out. Hopefully, my second go around on PC will fare better.

I beat DQB2 for 2 times and now I’m beating DQB1 for the second time as well lol, the franchise is really cool, the combination with rpg and building is a really great mix, who wouldn’t love the game?

Once you play it, it’ll feel a ton better than the Switch/PS4! These QoL features make a HUGE difference!

I love Dragon Quest Builders 1 & 2 and have my fingers crossed that they're working on another one. I would like to see the series borrow more from Minecraft though. Specifically, a random map generator, multiplayer support from beginning to end, and a sandbox progression system in addition to the main story.

I love Dragon Quest Builders 1 and 2 and I replayed them both quite recently (on ps5) so they're in quite a fresh memory. And so, I think what was most terrible thing in DQB1 was thet your weapons range was very short and you really had to be there glued to the enemy, but at the same time the enemies had contact damage + knockback on it, and it made things really difficult and I had to consume a lot healing items just because of this. Now, I am bad at action type games so part of it is probably my fault, but I didn't have this problem in DQB2 that I played earlier. What I want to ask is, did the PC version remedy this?

The range is still the same. HOWEVER! Weapons and equipment no longer degrade!

I have this on Switch. How different is this version from Switch?

A ton that I’ve mentioned in the video, but I’ll name a few:
      - Blocks now stack at 9999 instead of 99.
      - Colossal coffer has a ton more slots.
      - Weapons and tools are now mapped to individual buttons rather than forcing players to swap to use them.
