Heartburn during pregnancy certainly makes it feel like you’re a certified firebreather. 🔥The good news? I’ve got a round-up of 21 tried-and-true heartburn tamers. 👩‍🚒
➡️Sip 1 teaspoon of Bragg’s raw apple cider mixed into 8 ounces of water
➡️Squeeze 1-2 fresh lemons into 8 ounces of water and sip throughout the day
➡️Drink unsweetened coconut water (great source of potassium too!)
➡️Sip (don’t gulp) water as drinking too much too fast can actually make heartburn worse
➡️Eat peppermint candy or sip on unsweetened peppermint tea
    ➡️Drink warmed milk with honey
➡️Eat more fermented food (this helps support your gut health!)
➡️Stir 1 - 2 teaspoons of bentonite clay with a minimum of 8 ounces of water.
➡️Rub aloe vera gel (without the added dye) on your throat and abdomen
➡️Eat one grapefruit after your meal (fight acid with acid!)
➡️Put 5-10 drops of digestive bitters in your water
➡️Chew natural gum (without artificial sweetener) after each meal
    ➡️Try Nat Phos
    ➡️Drink dandelion tea
➡️Make a Russian fermented drink called Beet Kvass (Place 2 to 3 chopped and peeled organic beets into a canister. Covering with 4 teaspoons of sea salt and 2 quarts of filtered water. Cover and let sit for two days.)
➡️Eat high enzyme foods, including papaya enzymes
➡️Try mucilaginous herbs like slippery elm bark and marshmallow root.
➡️Make a ginger tea with ½ - 1 tsp. Grated ginger mixed into 8 ounces of hot water for tea. Steep for 10 minutes.
➡️Add crushed fennel seeds to tea
    ➡️Visit a chiropractor
➡️If all else fails, try 1/8 tsp. of baking soda in water. You might be one of the few who actually do have too much stomach acid. This will serve as a natural antacid.

Please please please talk about gallbladder health as well during and after pregnancy. Heartburn is a good indicator that you could have gallbladder issues in the future after having a child and it is rarely talked about!!

Hi I just watched your video called (BEST Way To Open & Eat A Pomegranate) awesome thank you :-)) so anyways I’m a dude so I don’t know anything about being pregnant lol but I find I get heartburn when I eat bread or cakes basically things with yeast, I don’t remember where I got this little tidbit/information but I have implemented it into my life and it has done wonders for me. Are you on the edge of your seat yet lol Ryebread it seems that Rye combats heartburn I seldom leave replies, but I know how horrible heartburn can be. I’ve also eliminated as much yeast out of my diet as I can I use flatbread or rye bread pumpernickel pretty good too. You would think I eat bread all the time I don’t actually but anyways, I hope this. helps some you wonderful mothers out there God bless you

Thank you for this very needed list but I thought papaya and pineapple were no go areas when pregnant 🤔

Unless you're allergic to pineapple or papaya there is no scientific evidence to support the advice against pineapple or papaya in pregnancy.

My heartburn was worse with my red head! She has a mop of red hair that later turned strawberry blonde, it was so bad I never wanted to get pregnant again.

I tried everything, literally everything and nothing helped my entire first pregnancy. Nothing!
Now I’m pregnant again, had the same heartburn issue…And the only thing that helped was the chiropractor. Was gone instantly and hasn’t returned in a week now. I had it every single day before!

I thought lemon causes acid reflux

    • @mamanatural
      @mamanatural  Год назад

In some people it can but in others it may resolve it--depending on if the pH of their esophagus and gastrointestinal system is too base or too acidic. Which is why baking soda (a base) may work for some people while ACV (an acid) may work for others.
