    By far the most helpful video I've found on my new system! Especially because have a 50amp tiny house and I'm deciding on transfer switch for entire outside panel or just plugging the house in. Most of the things I needed to consider you covered including using the app. I'm looking forward to trying this out, but I agree using the app for remote driving is unlikely, tried it out today and thought it is definitely not my most needed feature. One thing was that it was too fast, but you mentioned the speed is adjustabe. I'm short on time e trying to figure it out by playing videos while I do other tasks but I stopped everything to watch your video! Thank you!

      I finally got my superbase v in place and ready to test but I have the wrong adapter. Mine is a locking one and not the right one for the superbase so I was looking at the right adapters, the one for the 30amp plug was easy to find but I have been looking everywhere for the 50amp plug you show on here that goes into the two 15amp plugs. I only see plugs that are 2x 15amp to 30 amp. Do you have links to the adapters like yo show in here?

    These units look like a "game changer". If the software works bug-free, it is over. I see no downside to this product. Weight is irrelevant when talking whole house options or running ac. Moving it should be minimal.
    I built 3 DIY units, 5200w, 5200w, 2400v capacity. I also have a 1500w and a 700w retail battery systems. I use the smaller, hand portable units in the bedrooms. The two larger units are built on hand trucks and one on a 4-wheeled cart. They are easy to move. I mounted four swivel wheels on an extended base I attached to the hand truck base, so they pivot 360° if needed. I position where needed and there they sit, with solar input available to charge each, sorta'. I only have 1500w of solar! I am moving so will buy more panels, and I will be having a transfer switch installed. Cost is always an issue, especially now. But having some battery backup or at least a 3000w generator is a must.

    Gavin, this is the most informative video I've seen describing the 240 VAC outputs on the SuperBase V! I am about to buy one of these and would use it as backup power in an outage. I want to connect to my house via a generator inlet which goes to my main panel with an interlock so I need split-phase 240 VAC. Where did you find out about this split-phase feature? I can’t find this feature on the panel labels or in the Zendure documentation or website. I have emailed their support to get confirmation from them about this feature and get inadequate answers from their non-technical people; they are slow to respond perhaps overwhelmed by Black Friday sales. I'm ready to buy one right now but somewhat hesitant if Zendure can't confirm what appears to be an undocumented feature. I'd appreciate any info you have on how you found out about this or if it is in the Zendure documentation!
    Thanks!

    Personally would still take a pair of delta pros for a number of reasons. Disclaimer I have delta pros my self.
    I prefer the 2 unit setup. If one unit failed when you needed it you'd still have a second unit as a back up that will still do almost everything you need. Even in 240v, the same type of Y-extension to convert the 120v outlets to a 30amp 240v outlet on the Zendura can be used on a Delta pro. Both would roughly give you the same amount of power with that setup and power almost everything you need. Atleast with the Pros you have the option of doing a full 30amp 240v outlet when pairing them instead of roughly half the power when using either single unit.
    I prefer the size of the pros especially because I've helped out friends and family in outages 2 times in the past year so being relatively transportable is important to me. Not to say they are light but for a common strength man they are fine to take with you and load up especially because of the handles and dimensions. The superbase looks like it would be very awkward to lift by your self because it's length and lack of handles not to mention 25% heavier. If your grabbing this unit from your basement like I have to then forget about. The pros are pretty much at a size where any bigger or heavier its not a easy job for one man. Obviously not a issue if you don't plan to move the unit besides level ground.
    I feel like ecoflow is the more proven and established company with alot of products while zendure is new in the game atleast with this type of unit. I imagine support would be much better with Ecoflow but I don't have much experience with either company. I do see on their Facebook group some people are reporting issues with there unit but that's nothing really uncommon for a new product as long as they fix the bugs.
    Invertor output is higher on the pros.
    the Delta Pros are cheaper per watt then the superbase. Currently delta pros are $2899 on Amazon while the Zensure is $3999. Almost 10% cheaper per watt at that price. The pros are at a deal at the moment but if your paying attention they have a sale almost every month. You should pay no more then 3000 for a pro and alot of times they offer freebies along with it.
    Much more add ons and accessories that make their products even better. The gas generators especially.
    The superbase is a slick unit but I'd still take the delta pro.

    • @TonyStark998
      @TonyStark998 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@dieseldawg7132 I can only comment on my experience. My dual delta pro setup been flawless so far. So has my delta max + dual fuel generator at my office. I’ve used all these things way more then I expected to. I’m not aware of any horror stories. Reference? Anyways that’s why I like the fact the delta is 2 individual units versus 1 incase one goes bad because from any one of these companies we have to expect issues but if I did have a problem I’d expect ecoflow to be better then zendure. They are more established. These are just my opinions and experiences so far.

    Can you charge it while it's supplying power? To me the ultimate product would be a battery gen like this which can output 120/240V to my house, but can be charged with a simple 2000W gas generator at the same time. It would alleviate the need to buy a 240V gas generator.

    I'm just beginning my search for the right emergency backup solution. My thoughts are to have a solution that would connect to my circuit breaker, which is in my garage (in a Florida home). So my question is should i have any concerns for leaving the Superbase & battery in a hot garage in close proximity to my circuit breaker? If that sounds like a bad idea, how far away can this unit be stored from the circuit breaker?
