BLUETTI EP900 + B500 - 9,000w of power, 39kwh of storage

  • BLUETTI just announced the EP900 and modular B500 battery at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. I headed to their booth to check it out and give you my first impressions.
    This is a powerhouse that can easily compete with large server rack mount batteries and all-in-one inverter/chargers but with a cleaner install. Capable of 9,000w of pure since wave AC output and super fast 9,000w wall and solar charging, this can handle anything you can throw at it.

    • @CityPrepping
      @CityPrepping 11 месяцев назад

      @@todd.parker ah, thanks for mentioning that. So to confirm, if you have microinverters on existing panels, there's not a solution to get this to work with the EP900 inverter? I'm not sure if I should mention this in the video. Might just recommend people reach out to Bluetti if they have panels already set up and confirm it will work for their specific setup. I have standard panels on a secondary solar array on my house and didn't run into that issue. It's a fun time to review these types of products as the market is going to explode over the next few years. Stay safe!

    What's the difference between the AC500 and EP900, why the difference in naming, this is confusing

    • @todd.parker
      @todd.parker  Год назад +2

      They are pretty different. The AC500 is a large plug-and-play system with a 5,000w inverter that you can just hook together and use like a powerful power station.
      The EP900 is more of an professionally installed, whole home system like a Tesla Powerwall that is designed to be hard wired to your electrical panel and grid meter. It has a 9,000w inverter - there's no output ports or display so you just install it in your basement or garage and monitor it from your phone.

    • @ThunderJarvis

      I just got off the phone with customer service and they said the EP900 is the inverter and the AC500 the batteries for the system.
