Hi there, regarding seed oils, there are more studies that show that they aren't an actual problem. I encourage you to watch Simon Hill's channel The Proof. He's a nutritionist and has talked about them. There's also the channel Nutrition Made Simple. He's made some videos about them. Those are two, but there a lot of other reputable doctors, scientists and nutritionists who talk about seed oils 😊

I’ve learned that there are going to be professionals for and against many things so it’s up to us to decide who to listen to based on the research presented and what we think is best for our bodies. I’ll definitely check Simon’s video because I love hearing different perspectives.
Omgggg I had no idea about the seed oils! I stay away from canola & vegetable oils but am GAGGED hearing grape seed oil can cause inflammation. I’ve been cooking with avocado oil for monthssss now but grape seed oil used to be my go to!

So, I just recently learned about the seeded oils myself and all the ingredients that are in our foods that are not good for the body. I was in awe, and my sister introduced me to an app called Bobby approved. It has changed my life when shopping. You just scan the bar code it will tell you thumbs up on the ingredients or thumbs down. It will also tell you why the product is not a healthy choice. It will save you time and also educate yourself on the food choices. Hope this helps 🙏🏾

Side note: I thought it was super weird when I saw Canola Oil in Vegetable Broth too. I have stepped away from oils in general in the most recent months. I am cooking on low to use the moisture from the food or using nut milks. The manufacturers are putting non-necessary ingredients in all products. In time, at the rate they are going, all products will have the ingredients we do not want. They are offloading those products to us. You are not alone. The manufacturers keep messing with the foods. Just Egg cooks and tastes differently than when it was originally produced. It is not you dear. Recommend that we all just keep reading the ingredients.

Yes, please share your knowledge it’s needed. ❤️ I just ate tofu 2 days ago for the first time in 3 years. I have been eating just plants, grains, seeds, & nuts. Although I have been eating much more cleaner I felt so full eating the tofu lol.

Thoroughly enjoyed this video. I have to try the cashew & walnut milk ! I’m so over spending $8-9 on nut milk w.o the extra additives. Also adding to my list to try is the spicy kale salad & the pesto butter beans.
Love it 🤍 eating less protein and more fruits is what helped me losing weight and feeling like my best self again. The protein hype is still overrated because you can find protein in everything, and do not have to worry to lack of it. More special sugars from fruits is what our body's are asking 🤍

I will say my husband used to be vegan/ was the one who said we should go vegan after being vegetarian about 5 years ago. He eats meat/ dairy now but is vegan at home and will eat vegan food with me when we go out. Very occasionally will he have meat at home unless it’s from leftovers at a restaurant and sometimes he has a cheese of some sort
I tried and fell in love with the Harissa Butterbeans and have made them multiple times!!! I eat it over a mix of wild and brown rice with a side of vegetables...sooo good. Thank you for this recipe...I will be trying more!

I definitely feel you when it comes to learning about nutrition and information Ming others while there’s so much coming out constantly about what’s good or bad or things we thought were good but are actually bad or marketed as healthy but are terrible for you. I just want to say pray for God to give you discernment when it comes to the nutritional information you receive and give out. This is my first video of yours I’ve stumbled across but that definitely stuck out to me, when you pray about it God will do the rest and leave no room for stress.

Make sure your research is not just other influencers. I think we need science literacy first, the seed oils fear mongering thing is really out of hand now.

I’m trying to expand recipes and then I said “why is this woman so gorgeous and cooking just like I want and I don’t know her personally”? I definitely feel you when it comes to learning about nutrition and information Ming others while there’s so much coming out constantly about what’s good or bad or things we thought were good but are actually bad or marketed as healthy but are terrible for you. I just want to say pray for God to give you discernment when it comes to the nutritional information you receive and give out. This is my first video of yours I’ve stumbled across but that definitely stuck out to me, when you pray about it God will do the rest and leave no room for stress.

Kale salad and the pasta is definitely on the menu this week! My favorite recipe that i make the most is the marry me chickpeas, i wanted to try the pesto beans but I'd already made pesto pasta , but it will make its way in rotation! You always come thru when im struggling! Love watching you ❤

Make sure your research is not just other influencers. I think we need science literacy first, the seed oils fear mongering thing is really out of hand now.
I realize my previous comment is probably not helpful so here are some resources to clear things up: Science made simple has a few great videos on this and other topics and he’s excellent for helping folks understand what the literature as a whole is saying not just a few studies that are then misinterpreted

Another great nutrition resource is The Proof with Simon Hill, who happens to be vegan. There’s also Sigma Nutrition who have a great podcast and articles as well. They even have a nutrition science literacy course.

I’m trying to expand recipes and then I said “why is this woman so gorgeous and cooking just like I want and I don’t know her personally”?
