I believe there are 3 types of K586's out there. There is the K586 which has standard outemu blue switches And there is the K586 Pro which has either optical blue outemu switches or optical brown outemu switches. Either keyboard don't differ to much in price.
@@donpac3531 Yeah! apprently you need to press the Rec button besides the g10 one and after you press rec press any macro key from g1-g10 then Do what you want it to do then press Rec again to confirm the macro, so if you want to do a copy amacro in G1 key, do REC - G1 - ctrl C - REC. then everytime you press G1 it would auto Copy, to remove it just do REC then the Macro key then rec again.
Hello, can you please send me the link where you bought the one with brown optical switches, cause i like the keyboard but i only found n Redragon website the blue optical switches, and they didn't mention any other type
K586-Pro is optical mechanical, means there is a IR(infrared) which detects your key strokes, haven't used one so can't really comment. But I have been using K586 mechanical and it's brilliant except for the ping mechanical noise which is common.
@@PremiumAphid ah darn bc I rlly just needed a comfortable wrist rest :( so I think I might go for the razor blackwidow chroma te v2, u got an opinion on it?

Hey it`s not the cheappest mechanical gaming keyboard, if you check you will see keyboard at 30 euro, 50 EURO. This keyboard in my country cost 70 euro sow its not cheap but it`s worth it, becouse is one of the best.
alright so for christmas I have a gaming laptop i bought with my own money because my parents want me to learn to get everything for my self and so now i been needing to hook up a keyboard because i wanted one then for christmas they bought me a red dragon keyboard but it was like 20 dollars and they did't do research so they just found a cheap one and got it. but i got a 2 tb usb that costed a lot already so they just threw this in to have something else. but that made me interested in finding a cool gaming keyboard because i just wanted a normal keboard and didn't think their was much to an rgb keyboard but since they bought me this one, ive done so much research and now i want this because its clicky and tactile and its redragon's custom blue switch and i want it. but i don't wanna be disrespectful to my parents and buy a new keyboard because they just gave me one because i think that it would make me look bad so imma hold off on buying another keyboard but when i do buy my new keyboard it will be this because it has so much to offer for such little, you also helped me make this decision so thank you very much.
@@PremiumAphid i just calculated it its 4k php its expensive here in philippines :( cant afford it im looking for an actual budget mechanical keyboard lol but thats nice tho

The redragon broadsword pro is better it is the same thing just 9 macros and it has no numpad
"all love" if you are going to exaggerate then I will say the switches "we all hate" you know if we go by personal opinion.
The “cut out that lets lighting out” is not a cut out it’s just a rainbow led strip on both sides that you can’t control
for those who have this keyboard for a year, how is it now? is it still in good condition?
Worlds most best keyboard for my gaming experience thank you
Very epic and your welcome

Is this keyboard switches hot-swapable to any switch or just outemu switch?
I think so.
I hope it will be available in my country soon, so excited for this!
😀
Please note that ALL Redragon keyboards come with complementary Yeet Sauce™
Yes sir
I have an older version redragon keyboard, mouse and headset and i don't want any other product.. really like this brand
mine stopped working in an hour the spacebar FN key and the alt key just stopped lighting up and working
bro I just bought these and literally 5 min after, I had the same problem. Have you found a fix for it?
Dang

I got the Brahma pro with brown optical switches, for $90 is not the "CHEAPEST RGB Mechanical Keyboard" but for the features that has I guess it is.

how do you turn off the moving rainbow lights on the sides of the keyboard?? very distracting at night for my likes.
May have to find a lighting tutorial or download software for this keyboard. I couldn’t figure it out either
I really don't understand between this one and the pro one. Can someone explain which is better?
I don’t know either tbh. Didn’t know there were two versions.
@@PremiumAphid Well either way, I bought one like yours. Can't wait to get it! Because my old keyboard is now giving up on me.

Is it possible to program media keys and volume roll?
Should i buy this or the k580 cuz i want a red dragon keyboard with leds on the sides and i love thick keyboards and so which one should I choose
That is LITERALLY what I'm deciding right now
Can you turn of the lights btw, or does it have to stay on at all time?
Does it have a software like razer where you can customize the colors? like having just a solid purple?
Yes
Does anyone know the type of the key-caps, are they double shot injection key-caps?
you try to macro a touch exemple G1 (ctrl+S) for me is not possible i try in software you have a tips?

budget type corsair k70 rgb same looks. except the macro keys..
The switches are not replics, they are original outemu blue and they added a different shape to the switches to make the keycap more fixed
Last I heard they were replicas but basically the same since the original blue switches blue prints are available to the public
Replicas of cherry MX blue switch, but outemu blue switches are brilliant.
