His meticulous approach combined with an almost Richard Burns quality of understanding that one can finish second in almost every rally and still win a championship was such a joy to watch. If one ignores the rear knuckle failure at SOFR, Semenuk seemed to understand precisely where the line was and skillfully danced upon it, always bring the car home in the process.
Congratulations not only to Brandon, but hats off to Travis for being nothing shy of an amazing teammate. Takes a lot to be humble when competing at this level and he was only lifting up his teammate. Glad they were both able to round out a successful season, and hope to see them both back next season better than ever.
I have to say, I really preferred the way that Launch Control was produced in previous seasons. It felt like a much more engaging and high production quality experience. Still love the series, but I think the narrator aspect made the series.

Where I live here in the Alabama foothills would be a great place to hold a rally. Been dreaming about it since I moved here. Brandon driving the wheels off that Subie. What a great competitor and Travis is the perfect teammate.
I really hope they don't drop Travis after just having put him in the "main seat". Also props to Ken for a great run, sucks to go off, but you can also say he wouldn't have pushed as hard without the competition right behind him. Another great season for Launch Control, thanks for this! Looking forward to the new stuff!
Though Pastrana isn't my cup of tea I share this sentiment. He's charismatic, infectiously positive, a fan favorite, and identifiable outside the world of American rallying. He is a good face for the sport and brings fans from his own brand to watch or otherwise enjoy Subaru's and VSC's participation in the ARA. Furthermore Rhianon Gelsomino is a class act.
Why would they ever drop Travis? He is by far their biggest draw. He won last year. The only reason he wasn't competitive as he usually is is because he broke his back at the beginning of the season.
While it was a very short glimpse of a sticker on the cars, that was pretty awesome of y’all to include something related to Al Dantes Jr. Anyone that watches this and knows what it’s about will also notice 👍🏻. Congratulations on the championship
Thank you Subaru for keeping the drama and the tension in while drivers compete for the title in high performance Imprezas. That's what ARA needs. No manufacturer has been THIS committed to keep a championship alive in the whole racing world...

Brandon, Travis,Ken should consider doing a full season in the WRC. Hyundai and Msport are looking for good drivers. It would be good to see how they match with the top drivers in the world the likes of Kalle, Ogier and Evans #toyotaboys.
12:35 this is the highlight of the season. Subaru were able to barely win against WRC cars. But they won. Now I wonder if Subaru will ever make a car to ever fit Rally2 or Rally1 regulations ever.

Watching this fully cemented by opinion of Block and Pastrana. Admittedly, I've only been into rally for the past couple years but I've been watching them both since I was a kid and I always liked Block more cuz he was always more fun and don't get me wrong, he puts on a great show. However, every time he's been at the Michigan stages (both LSPR and SnoDrift) he practically throws a tantrum every time he crashes due to his own over-driving. Pastrana hasn't won a race ALL SEASON and he's still just as happy and chipper and positive as he was beforehand. Ken Block is a great showman, but Travis (and especially Brandon) are really the ones to watch from Team Subaru

Yeah buddy, I was rooting for Semenuk to win the underdog battle. Ken block is great and all, but it's always cool to see someone else win too. Go team Subaru.
Deeply missing the STI and gasoline engines as they are economical and efficient for those who drive a lot. but an EV for enthusiast purposes and racing isn't totally bad it just better be balls to the wall and raw as possible. Only issue I perceive being a missed want is manual transmissions or the analog nature, but in the end if it means faster lap times and a more extreme car option for EV's, As long as there isn't extra nannies and optional delete all unnecessary crap, hell ill buy. Tesla's and others have too much, I want RAW EV not over digitalized EV. ( *even considered building my own* )
what i don't get is if that 2022 wrx platform is meant for rally. why are we still using older wrx's for pro rally courses? could it be the new wrx was actually made for the street and the daily grocery getting for the dad that dosn't know how to mod cars?
