I found this series by accident this season. It’s been the greatest mistake I’ve ever made on RUclips. My 7-year-old nephew and I love watching it. He always wants me to launch my WRX and I have to remind him it’s not a Hoonigan 🤣. I’ve also begun starting the series from the beginning. The progression of talent, vehicle evolution, and development of storyline and camera work just got better snd better. Well done to all involved in all projects this season covered!
Mate, you've got quite a bit of content to catch up on. I'm sure you'll enjoy every season. This series is bloody great, and has been for years. It's impressive that Subaru have kept up the investment in this for so long. It wouldn't be cheap
This is what America should look like... All those people, all that fun and freedom and STILL able to pull it all off all while "wearing a damn mask". Thank u all for giving us great content and showing its the right thing to b safe.
when the part 1 finished i was like, damn, i have to wait another week for part 2. But then i was shock, part 2 already coming out! you make my day Subaru!! Thank you!!
19Gs is insanity! And Travis was just working with Scott Speed, who's coming off a spinal fracture from a rough landing himself. Glad they're both okay
They should really look at helicopter seats that take the impact from the crew in a hard landing. In my mind the seat should travel up but it should absorb the shock on jumps when it impacts with the deck. I wish they would at least make a mount for these drivers as the back shouldn’t have to endure that torture with the technology we have today.
Props to the engineers for the foresight to install a load sensor to record that data. I imagine that’s something most people wouldn’t think to install but when brought up it makes complete sense to do.
19Gs isnt actually insane for a deceleration/impact event. Car crashes that cause pretty severe injury are above 50. Acceleration G vs deceleration/impact is very different. 19G is actually pretty damn good considering how fast they were going. Like to put in perspective, based on 135mph and travis weighing around 180, in like a standard car if he hit a solid wall at that speed and decel was like instantaneous no crumple zones no nothing it would actually being 900+G. but he had 300ms or so of decel time spread out over the suspension and base of the car. 19 sucks. for sure. But totally within reason for an impact landing. (Travis has a bad back so definitely worth calling it quits)
Is there was ever a question about the quality of subarus STI's... this is your answer! And the commitment of a brand and the sponsors for the delivery of a video/episode that we cant get enough off is priceless!!! This is what dream are really made off... kill all tyres!
Truly have more mad respect to the creative madness that is Travis. The bad story from Ken's season with Gymkhana to now passing the Keys to Travis is absolutely the greatest day for us fans and the sport of auto racing and the automobile! Proud to say thank you to the creative mids of both men and all the personnel that it takes to share these awesome feats of action which pulls at our youth to watch time and time again. Peace and grace to E1...Always glad too, when the its in the can all drivers are able to walk away smiling.
Launch Control is single handedly the best series on RUclips. Even my friends who aren't into cars are always asking if new episodes have dropped for us to watch. Thanks to Subaru for doing so much to keep motorsport & rally racing alive
I loved it. Subaru USA, Travis Pastrana you guys did amazing. I love subaru and Rally racing. Travis you are my inspiration on what I would love to do with my life and my career in the Future. You are so amazing.
These 2 videos have been soooo informative!! I love learning about... what and where different bits are placed on the car and for what purpose. Thanks so much!! Oh...and Travis...you dun good!! ♡♡♡
Please never take these videos down. I had to re-watch Gymkhana 11 after watching this. Still awesome. I can now sleep at night knowing what the BAKE button does. That scene where Travis and Scott synchronize donuts was one of my favorites before this video and now I'm even more impressed that it was done in one take, and Scott had never done a donut. I hope Travis and VSC will keep making these with Hoonigan and I hope we can get more stunts with the Nitro Circus team as well. Everyone please also watch the Build Breakdown of this car on the Hoonigan channel. Very cool video there too. Also, who's clean GC8 was that at 20:53? Love that car...
this subaru team carries a lot of pride of what they do, perfect embodiment of Japanese pride and glory. sugoi subarashii. kudos and shoutout to Subaru of America and Vermont SportsCar what a wonderful masterpiece you have produced. still wanna see this have drag race with the hoonicorn omegalol shoutout too the Ken Blocks's Hoonigan Crew insane gymkhana video again yet again and of course to Subaru for this documentary movie 2 parts.
GOTTA Love that *custom function for this monster (Shake 😍) Congrats to everyone involved to create not only this video but the story behind cinematics. 🙌
Just absolutely amazing to watch all of these videos! Your team is one to admire with true dedication, talent and history. Thank you for everything 110%
Vermont Motorsports should take an Impreza Hatch and take it to england for BTCC racing and dominate over there, also take Scott to europe for World RX.
Where'as most sponsers tell u what u need to do , it seems u don't need to tell Travis anything.....he puts the pressure on himself an makes the world take notice. F' ya super hero's, Travis is the real deal.............always has been, always will be. Love u man. Respect
Subaru: "Hey Scott wanna do some stunt driving in an irreplaceable hand built new gen BRZ?" Scott: "yea sure" Subaru: "You'll be doing donuts in sync with Travis who will be driving a one of a kind STi Hoonigan special" Scott: "great" Subaru: "you ever do a donut?" Scott: "haha"
Omg this is by far the best launch control video I have ever seen great work by all of you guys and gals. Subies forever. Stay safe everyone. Launch control baby. Yeahhhh. 😀😊
9:28 22B!!!!! Subaru , Travis , VSC! You guys must use that beauty for next Gymkhana!!! If Ken Hoonicorn is legend then Travis with 22B will Became a MYTHICAL!!!
This was a great re-introduction for Subaru, and Travis Pastrana is a f-king legend. Also, Subaru is one of the world's greatest car makers. I love Japanese cars and I drive them every day. But it's not the Hoonicorn - a re-imagined, 4wd, big block, classic '65, carbon fibre muscle car with 1400hp that spits flames and smokes all tyres while going backwards. I can't see the sheer theatrics of the Hoonicorn ever being beaten.
Hey are you guys looking into that power steering pump? Maybe that caused Travis’ last rally car to catch fire too? May be worth looking into if overloading the power steering pump can lead to a fire in the engine bay.
i saw the hometown shred b4 this. how no IDEA that the BRZ in that shot was THE PROTOTYPE! and over all that Gymkhana was totally awesome! so glad to see all the stuff behind the scenes. Also, Scott, how the heck do you not know how to donut!! 19gs, holy hell. that's insane. Also, I binged watched all the launch control videos in about 2 weeks and caught up. F*ck is this what the day one views have to deal with? man. Can't wait for the next episode of LAUNCH CONTROL!!

I also discovered the show this season. I shared it with my friends and now they also watch it.

I found this by ad
Welcome to Subaru’s Launch Control. So good to see others enjoy it as much as I always have.

I know!!! I was like.. WAIT!!! Did they repost it??? lol
Thank you Subaru!!!!!
Same was like hey wait, okay
:)
Yup, they knew.
I was so happy when I scrolled down after watching part 1and seeing this
Yo I am so glad that Subaru is going back to actively being the coolest guys in motorsports, not trying to be... but being.
I’m sad to see how bad this comment has aged. RIP STI:(
@@justinturner4850 aww damn man :(
Launch Control is the most underrated channel on youtube. This is simply amazing.
I’ve said it before but it bares repeating, this series, Subaru of America, and Vermont Sportscar makes me so proud to own my Forester
love this
I can't blame you
Forester life!! If only wind noise wasn't a thing on old Subies! :D
@@promethbastard yeah the no window frame is a bad design haha

that's what I was thinking about as soon as I saw the Gymkhana video. But I guess they proofed that a subbie can be indeed save to jump

Thanks for giving us both parts in the same day!!! Great content.
The synchronized drifting was probably one of my favorite parts of Gymkhana 11!
You know it's a great day when subaru uploads 2 videos !!!
Dang Scott is a BOSS. Just shows up and rips perfect synchronized donuts after 5 mins of Hoon for Dummies. What a wheelman!

Vermont sports car is the real mvp in this video. Cheers guys!
The brz and travis drifting the poles video cut is in my favorite. That was sweet!
I love the dedication and team work you guys put in. Subaru, Vermont Sportscar and Drivers

Fantastic surprise this morning! Both Parts of this series in one go. ❤️
That was a bad-ass two parter! What a crew,Vermont!
this is amazing! well done for making gymkhana and then showing us behind the scenes thank you for sharing with us , keep up the good work
Amazing videos. Such a great inside look to what goes on behind the scenes of the Hoonigan films. Thank you for this!
Vermont Motorsports should take an Impreza Hatch and take it to england for BTCC racing and dominate over there, also take Scott to europe for World RX.
I think they’ll be racing in Travis’s new Nitro Rallycross series instead of going to WRX. But I’m excited to see them continue in rallycross!
insanely good work from everyone involved, this is so quality!
Every second of launch control I watch just adds to the amount of pride I have driving a subie, brb gonna go safely destroy my STI’s tires
Seeing what went into the building of this car was absolutely amazing.
"I'd rather be lucky then good any day" coming from the most skilled action sports star the world has ever seen.
Yeah, I'll definitely be holding onto my WRX for now. This makes a man proud :')

Love this series. I want to see this car Time Attack!!
awesome video! and seriously awesome gymkhana. super happy its back to subie!
I bought a new Impreza and an Ascent this year. Subaru is doing great things for motorsports. I plan on buying an STi and a Crosstrek next year.
you know you’re a petrolhead when you are hyped about the exhaust tips.. does nothing for performance, but probably the most appreciated part haha
Thanks Travis Pastrana and the Subaru team!
I could watch hours of this. What a life this guy lives;)
Powerful Subaru 👍🏼👍🏼 Weldone!
I found out how much challenge and effort there were in this video
I would like to try the Gymkhana video with RC, but I know how difficult it is
I need to buy an STI finally!!! Love.. It's what makes Subaru a Subaru!!!
I love living in Rhode Island and rocking Vermont license plates on my WRX it just feels so right

"Better than any tv show, any tv show" yes indeed. Can't wait gymkhana grid, This STI vs Hoonicorn, are crazy enough.
This is the reason I buy new Subaru's they participate in things there Fans love. Travis is are a proper car god!
Just incredible!!! Absolutely insane!
Did they find the GoPro cameras that got launched off into the marina?! That would be an awesome camera angle to see!
is there more coming? the behind the scenes are awesome
Great work
Stellar. Awesome work!
Good Crew, andTeam
These are sick!!
Subaru got me emotional, 😭❤
All I can think of is Talladega Nights with the kids screaming "Anarchy!"
Seeing this, it’d be rad to see what Vermont Sports Car and Subaru would do if they build an IMSA GTD series car.
Hey are you guys looking into that power steering pump? Maybe that caused Travis’ last rally car to catch fire too? May be worth looking into if overloading the power steering pump can lead to a fire in the engine bay.
Wow there is an Impreza P1 here! That’s rare WRX royalty only behind the 22B 😍
you guys made my day!!
Brian Hymond i love you. I just hear your voice and ooooooohh boy, that's gonna be good
now the only other question is when are we gonna get the Gymkhana 11 extended cut?
Really hope to see this car at pikes peak hill climb and mt Washington hill climbs
Awesome. Thanks guys.
And the most important thing is the car looks really good on the camera
