Ok. Dude you’re flying! Did my fist event of the year on thunder and did a 1:36ish (can’t remember) in my gutted 97 m3. You’ve thrown down the gauntlet! I should be going back this weekend, now with power steering! Hoping to get down to the 1:33s!
Thanks! I'll be going back in a couple weeks with NETC to see if I can shave 2s or so since I ran a 33.4 last year on the old pavement with the same setup. I keep hearing the new track is 2-3s faster but I haven't gotten used to the changes yet. Hopefully the weather is good for both of us!
@@JunkRacecars same to you! Yeah I didn’t notice much of a gain in performance with the new pavement. But running the same tires as last year so they may be slowing down (kuhmo v730).
@@kcspeed9980 I was thinking the same thing! My RS4s have been on the car for about a year with 5 TNIAs and 6 full DE days of wear, wouldn't be surprised if the heat cycling is starting to creep in. Unfortunately most 200tw tires are backordered atm, so I guess we gotta lock in lol.
@@JunkRacecars Exactly! I have enough driver-mod and “other” stuff to do so I’m not worried. Getting the parts together for a big break upgrade. Hopefully we meet up at a future event! I’ve got a bmw but I’m a diehard Pontiac man! Sold my 67 tempest to get my track car.
@@JunkRacecars hey that's cool, those are great cars! I'd imagine you're planning to T56 swap it like you've done your other B body? unless that has already happened :p
@@mightyjoebean Nope lol, I plan on keeping it pretty stock except for some towing mods like gears and better coolers. Plan is to use it to pull my track car around.
@@JunkRacecars I see, that's pretty smart. I'd like to see an update video of your current collection of LT1 powered vehicles. you've got a good fleet so far :p

sooo if you drive the 95' firebird, and 96' camaro on the track, is the cammaster your daily driver? that would be such a kick ass grocery getter :D
Nah lol, the cammaster just sits unfortunately until I have time to put it back together. I daily a 94 Caddy Fleetwood with an LT1 though lol.
