Hey I just got the mig 21 and wanted to practice dogfights with the mig 21. But the ai are near impossible to beat , they outclimb out turn and never loses speed at all. What are you recommendations to simulate how planes such as f5 and mirage will perform in mp
I did a couple flights out in flash point levant before I went into enigmas, tbh most of your kills will come from sneaking up with ir missiles, dogfights are dangerous as anyone can just jump on you when you are mid fight
@@Joemate23 I am not that proficient in multiplayer yet. I mostly play offline. What difficulty of ai should I set to simulate real players for example in a f5
@@wongarnold2879 im not sure, i dont set up custom ai fights, the levant server has ai jets in it which put up a good fight, mainly su17 and mig 21, but i suppose the highest difficulty.
@@Joemate23 it guzzles fuel at an insane rate. When you put the emergency afterburner on too for a dogfight it burns it 50% faster than when you’ve just got the normal one on. I love it but I do run out of fuel a lot 😂. You’re constantly looking at the gauge. I know it’s a point defence interceptor but 45mins flight time max on internal fuel is pathetic 😂. It’s really fun though.
Without VR you lose sight very easy and it's almost impossible to gain it back with pov hat only! Keep that in mind for why were some of your kills that easy! Lose sight lose fight!
@@Joemate23 Lately ED has managed by some miracle to make the aircraft appear more clearly and you are less able to lose them during a dogfight and can see one even from almost 8 to 10km away visually. You can still lose sight but a bit harder and it's a bit easier to respot the enemy. At least now.

Yeah that road base on ECW is always interesting

Do you fly off peak hours? Never seen ECW so "peaceful." For me, every encounter evolves to 4-6 bird furballs before it can get resolved.
