How to Attach and Detach a Lens (Panasonic)

Here's a little how to video to help you mount a camera lens on to your camera. This video applies to all Panasonic Lumix, Olympus bodies and lenses only.

Is the lens supposed to retrack back in before removing? I have a lumix gx85. Not sure if there's a way to retract before removing.

there's a button where you unlock the mechanism to twist the lens. If you can not twist the lens off, it's locked. If it's not coming off, press the little button (usually left of the lens and very close to the lens) and it'll release that lock, allowing you to detach the lens .
