I've just done the head gasket on my 2.0. Stsrted up no probs. Then when bleeding coolant post the bleed screw. Got another screw. And sort the coolant. Van wouldn't start. Tried easy start etc. Yeah it ran for a few secs but always died. I found the issue!!!!!!!! My airflow meter is foo barred somehow. Disconnect airflow and try starting......
My 1.9 traffic Will only fire up and run if I run a switched live feed to the fuel solenoid on the high pressure pump. I'm assuming it's an immobilizer issue of some sort . Possibly the transponder pick up around the ignition barrel.. just a thought 👍

The maf will be stopping it starting mate. Disconnect it. And start her up
