  • Well Aldi finally had some more Ferrex 20/40v tool system tools in store today, so popped over to pick up something I've wanted for awhile as well as some other bargains.

Already had the magnetic trays - darned handy! Also picked up the extendable magnet and mirror thing this week, though I've no immediate use for them. I often end up buying stuff there that I didn't know I needed but that would be difficult to track down if I waited until I did. Just don't tell the Mrs.!!! 🙂
Subscribed as I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the jigsaw, as and when. Our old McAllister now has a dodgy trigger so thinking of replacing it. I was looking at what's available around, including the Bosch ones at B&Q, but they're a LOT more expensive. There was only one jigsaw left in our local Aldi yesterday but that had been opened and generally messed about with, presumably by folk checking it out. No batteries or chargers to be seen though, so I'll think about it when they next show up.

I also buy tools that might be useful 😉 will be using the jigsaw in a few weeks and thanks for subscribing. I did a video on why I chose the Aldi Ferrex tools, it's mainly on cost or I'd pay £30 on a tool I may use but unlikely £60 from another company

I just added the jigsaw to my Ferrex tool collection today. Great bit of kit. Got 2 of the saw horses a few weeks ago and made all the same mistakes putting them together as well 😂 handy things though. I used mine for cutting down 4.8M 4x2 for my new workshop foundation (10x14 Tiger shed)

Aldi cordless tools are great but they don't seem to be able to get batteries. So why buy a tool when you can't use it. Totally bloody useless.

They had loads in my local Aldi, but they do do through droughts from time to time hence why I've got a few ;)
