I own a few of these they are awesome! Wait till you get to ply with moving heads the control is amazing you can draw the pattern with your finger! How easy it is for us non dmx people hahah cheers man love your videos from ONTARIO CANADA!

I think everyone is a bit confused!
-The iPad does not have to be Plugged in I just had it plugged in to record the screen.
-Yes, you can program Moving heads and all Intelligent lighting fixtures.
-Yes, you can create scenes, FX, Strobes and Shows
-You only need 1 Box which will let you control up to 24 Lights
-Yes, you can use Donner DMX if you don't want to use regular cables.
-No, you don't need to have Wi-Fi in the venue to use it the box gives its own wifi signal.
-You will need to install the app before your gig but, you don't need Internet after it is installed.

can I control chauvet geysers with this as well?
Had an issue with this last weekend where I lost control of lights a couple off times when app said I couldn’t connect to the bridge wifi. Has that ever happened to u? If so do you know a fox around it. Luckily it happened during dinner and I think later on but if it had happened during intros or quince ceremonies I would hate it. i love my adj dmx bridge i use it all the time for my set ups can be annoying to set up shows and that but once its done its amazing
things like these have their place sometimes they don't do it well this does it incredibly well

I love the look of Airstream dmx and the way you can control the lights from it but when I asked for it for Christmas along with my 2nd Mega tripar pro they said it was too expensive so I got the MyDMX Buddy instead. The day before New Years Day I went to Argos (I live in the UK) and bought a small, compact touchscreen laptop and I love it. Still wish I had the Airstream DMX. So basically I speant all of my Christmas money before new year. This happened last xmas - 2018's Christmas. Also I love the videos's. 3rd time watching this video.
Edit: I like one of the features mainly because you can make a custom fixture where as you can't make a custom one with MyDMX. 2 of my fixtures aren't ADJ or any other major companies so I had to find one that worked with 1 of the products and the other fixture I can't DMX due to I not been able to find a fixture that will work with it.

Carlos Mendoza they make a big difference, dont throw ur money at any cheap sub u see, try to do alot of research before u buy, even if its only one at a time! good luck

Just got the airstream dmx and maaan its taking some time to get the hang of it. Lights are going everywhere lol just cant get the stealth lights to pan the audience. 😭
Folks, pardon but I'm brand new to this arena. How do I control multiple DMX Airstreams connected to multiple lights? And if I want to control different groups of lights do I need a separate Airstream for each channel? For what I gather I need a 4 Stream DMX Bridge to connect to first? Then individual DMX Airstreams for each groups of lights when then connect via XLR connectors within each branch? Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm a newbie.
Thanks for the videos. Please help. I had MYDMXGo and was working fine until i did the 1.04 update and now i have wifi drop outs. How about the ADJ Airstream? Is this still a good option to buy these days. Like something that works with iPad and to be more user friendly. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

You should had done multiple lighting. Use more lights to see if they work how you want it to work.

I mean like - pressing a button for say autoprogram of pars and then also pressing another button controlling the iKon Profile to go on or off... while not effecting the pars...?

Long time following you on RUclips.
I bought this Airstream here in Australia apparently only 4 units here and I own one.
It's not working right for me as I use a lighting brand call Beanz it's big here in Australia. I can get my moving heads to pan and tilt but when it's comes to colour changing its sometime does not work or it picks a random colour. I have all the lights on the right DMX channels and have checked many times.
Can you have a chat with your mates at ADJ and see if we can get some support in the land down under.

Just purchased ADJ Airstream and 4 Mega Tri Par lights. Problem is that the lights are not WiFly enable and I'm looking to connect and control them without DMX cables all over the floor. Any ideas on setup, I have 4 Pars and a GIGbar 2.0
Donner wireless DMX available on Amazon. Works fantastic. Different packages available and you can add to the systems as your light show grows.

well. I personally hate this "interface".
I prefer interfaces like the one from daslight or the grandma 2 series(for big events).
but thats my opinion.
Buy what you prefer. when you can work with this interface without problems everything is fine

Mmm en mi opinion no me gusta.... tienes que usar cables para conectar las luces y eso es mucha perdida de tiempo, yo uso MyDMX2.0 y donner wireless dmx, gastas un poco pero te ahorra mucho tiempo cuando vas hacer tu set up, bueno esa es mi opinion, saludos y sigue con los buenos videos.

Why o why does it only work with the biggest, most expensive, mass produced, rip the world off producers of shitty software that runs on devices either no one wants or is able to give a limb to pay for. Also wouldn't it make sence to review a controller that is also compatible with the worlds most popular mobile operating system and not just the worlds most expensive?
