I once had a bb spindle snap and had to one leg it home. It was a design defect and was replaced for free. With that splined spindle, he could have slid it on and rode carefully. It shouldn't ruin the parts like riding on a loose square tapered crank would.
I tried sliding it back on but the pinch bolts were still tight enough that I couldn’t get a good perch on it. The splines were a bit rounded too…the real problem is too many watts! Hahaha
Ya know there was for just a little bit but it felt like my cleat was loose and as I was looking at my shoe/pedal during the ideal stroke it felt off ha! I’m so observant!
@@Tkolbo_ no. I had a spare but the jack wouldn't fit under the car so I jogged home and got the other jack. Fortunately I found enough of the lugs scattered close by. Late for school.
