I mostly agree with the placements, although I feel like the tec bow could easily end up a little higher. Being able to just spam fully charged arrows at a rapid pace makes clearing out enemy encounters rather easy, let alone the fact you can retrieve your arrows most of the time. I'd personally put it at #8, but other than that, the rankings match with how I would place them. It's wild how many weapons you're given in this game to make use of and is something that always draws me back to it, since it makes each playthrough feel much more distinct
12:30 There is indeed a double barreld pump action shot gun the DP-12: Two barrels and two magazins. You can fire two shots before you have to use the pump action to reload both barrels.ruclips.net/video/mhKg2EOD-Rs/видео.html And there is one with two tube magazines and one barrel (would make sense for Turok: one tube for explosives, one for regular shot) The NeoStead2000: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NeoStead_2000
I would've switched some weapons slightly, but with your arguments your ranking makes a lot of sense and I would agree with most of the rankings. I didn't expect the charge dart so high, but if it gets used like you showed in the video, it does seem like a weapon with a good use. Using the flame thrower for the queen is a very good idea and maybe I should use that instead of the shredder there in the future x) I didn't expect any other weapon than the shredder on the first place. It might be even my favorite weapon in any game I've ever played. It just feels badass to run around and blast every enemy that comes along. I think the shredder + red shells is all you ever need in the entire game. You can activate some switches from far with it, we don't even need to hit enemies directly to kill them, we can do wallshots with it, it does a ton of damage, we can instant-destroy soul gates and that's maybe not even everything to mention. Really good commentary and edits too. It probably took a long time to make 🦖
I feel like the plasma rifle should be higher than firestorm cannon. Unscoped, it's an explosive hitscan weapon meaning it can clear out multiple enemies and it deals reliable fixed damage from any range to single targets. Unlike the firestorm, you deal single burst damage which makes avoiding enemy attacks or attacking and then quickly hiding behind cover a more viable strategy since you don't have to keep your crosshairs trained on the target all the time.
disagree, its explosion radius so so small, and its damage so poor, it can never really be used to as an area of effect weapon save for things like spiders. does win the ward for biggest different between visual firing effect and its actual damge output tho.
I remember the tranquilizer gun not having any ammo spawn for it, so once you're out, you're out for the rest of the game. This was on the n64 console.
3:00 I would disagree that there is no need for a melee weapon on hardcore. For groups of compies in Port of Adia, I prefer to crouch and then kill them with the talon. I also prefer Warblade for that very purpose, plus it 1 shots the Deadman enemies from River of Souls, great it for both mantid workers and mantid mites from Hive of the Mantids. Also great for use alongside stunning an enemy with the charge dart rifle. Great vid tho
Oh i knew i couldn't be the only one that actually preffered normal shotgun. Exp rounds are godlike on Shredder but regular ones often fells like BBs. Some enemies died in 3-4 shots while one from regular shotgun was enough. Its probablly an issue with hit detection.
Loved it. Presonally i would of put the oump action at #2 due to how availible red shells are and how its very similar damage to the shadder's intial hit. And the nuke i would presonally put towards the bottom due to how rare its ammo is and the fact that by the time u get it theres not many uses for it especially considering the slow charge up could get u killed on higher difficulties since your a sitting duck with it. But other then that great list.
I find Sunfire Pods handy in the level you get them and in niche cases where you want to stun a group of enemies the same way you would the charge dart rifle. That being said, I think both are kinda awful. I think I would place the Grenade Launcher over the Skorpion Launcher simply for the fact that the ammo is more plentiful and the nades can bounce in tight corridors making aiming less needed.
I think Turok 2 has one of the best FPS weapon selections ever. Nice vid!

Yep, the shredder is loads of fun.
Pog. Great video bruv
The Nuke in the original N64 version didn't even damage the bosses.

Charge Dart looks like the Spark Shot from Resident Evil 2. Love it.
buen video. saludos desde Argentina

It's the same with sunfire pods. There's still a way to get ammo back by visiting Adon, but those are 1-time use.
I loved this vid! I agreed with most of it, and it was fun.
When I saw the thumbnail for this video all I can think that if the cerebral bore isn't number one something's amiss.
Top 3 are kinda correct BUT Wth Dude *Tek Bow* is WAY TO LOW!
That Weapon carried me through the first 3 Levels on Hardcore single handily!

I won’t defend the war blade because your totally right, but it is still my favorite weapon in Turok 2. It is just so satisfying to swing around!
This game is gloves off just like Doom 2016. You got the enemies, the weapons and maps to explore.
14:37 The Cereeble Bore
The charge dart is such a strong weapon they had to increase its ammo cost in the remaster

What's that song at the end of the video? Sounds awesome
That's a song I commissioned John S. Weekley to compose for me. You can hear all of it at this link: ruclips.net/video/uNVgy0RRkT8/видео.html
@@WesleyWulf that kicks ass. I wish I knew people who wanted to make music like that where I live. Totally my kind of style.

I'm so glad they buffed some of the weapons for the remaster. The PFM layer was trash on the original n64 version and it was a shame since I loved it.
Buen video!!
Has uno shadow of oblivion
IDK the shredder while using normal shells is quite inconsistent maybe i am doing something wrong..
@@normbreakingclown676 that's why I prefer the shotgun for green shells

I disagree about the plasma rifle in the remaster. I find it effective but that's also my playstyle.

Razorwind should have been number 1! Nah, but good video!
Flare gun fanclub!
Too many useless and experimental weapons compared to the first game.
You mean fun and enjoyable weapon selection? Are you allergic to fun or just a brain dead idiot
