I don’t comment much on videos on RUclips even though i watch probably way too many. I just wanted to tell you though that I appreciate the time you put into your videos and all of the information you pass on. I’ve been considering something like making hats as a small side hustle, or maybe even T-shirts, and I’ve learned a TON from you and I will always be thankful for you and the knowledge you share. You seem like a genuinely good guy, I wish you continued success.
Great video it’s nice seeing the whole process. I have my t shirt company but am buying a cap press so these videos are gold to research what I wanna do
We have a lesser model and looking to upgrade. My question is what heat transfer vinyl are you using? New have some Roland and EasyWeed stuff but both are difficult to weed. Our Roland tech has purchased a direct to film printer and we're going to sup out our prints to him.
Hey i have the cap hold down device, but i'm not finding where it screws into. I have the single attachment to the 16x20 digital combo swing away press
Hey man I’m starting my clothing line tbh I kinda just jumped in I bought a hat press and the shirt press along with the vinyl cutter. Do you have a video where u show how to make the label tags to replace the gilden like how u design them
My only complaint with geo knight is that the handle has no padding, it became uncomfortable after 30shirts and still trying to get the hang of adjusting the pressure so the top platen dont fall off my heat press. Other wise its gotten the job done 🖒
Hey man love your channel! I wanted to know since youve done both, is it better to get a heat press and buy blanks to do at home so I can make to order as the shirts in Australia are great quality but not to cheap! Or use a heat press company and buy in small bulks? Cheers man
Awesome video, thanks for sharing, I was unboxing my cheapo Chinese hat press while watching this video to funny. I am planning on using this press for the same thing sleeves masks and neck labels...thanks again for all that you do, keep up the great content....
Love ya Rich. Some questions. I know you print transfers with the icolor printers, but they are cold peel and repress. What are you using to print these neck tags and other hot peel transfers?
I don't have any experience with it, but just gave it a quick look... looks like it just depends on what you want to use it for, it doesn't look like it's center focus is heat transfer vinyl.
use a t shirt instead of teflon paper. Pressing on a heat press with your hands is tiring but does a way smoother job. Just very tiring. The squares and scorch are solved by that method cause your only hitting the transfer.
My g, when the last time you had some time off? I’ve been doing POD, but I’m ready to bring everything in-house. I’m just worried what if me and the misses want to take a holiday. It’s not like a physical boutique storefront where you can just close shop and put up a sign “back in a week”
Every once in a while. You can turn it on vacation if you want, it’ll mess up some of your rankings slightly if selling on a marketplace, but easily done with a Shopify store since you run your own traffic anyways. You could also have a long enough processing time that you can still fulfill it within a certain time frame. Or you could do what I do and network with some of your friends who do the same thing and cover for them when they take a vacation and vice versa. Lots of options.
Has anyone been using this for an extended period of time? I'm torn between this and the Hotronix 360iq (which supposedly is the "holy grail")..I just really like this due to the double capacity, but worried about creating creases on the hat?? THANKS ALL!!
yo Rich, I dont have a hat press atm but I am having issues getting my hoodie sizing labels to stick because of the way the fabric is on the inside of a hoodie. I currently print my labels on a Uninet 550, do you think its the standard paper that I am using? I have a geo knight auto open and have no issues with the shirt labels, any insight you could provide would be appreciated my g
Hey Danny, I've never used the uninet prints for a hoodie tag.. so to be honest I wouldn't know. It's also a little funky just for a plastisol transfer on the hoodie tag as well, you just have to peel it quickly with the plastisol, but not too sure about the white toner prints for tags.
yOUR VIDEOS ARE DOPE, AND I WANTED TO DO THIS 15 YEARS AGO BUT MOVED AWAY FROM GRAPHIC DESIGN TO BUILD HOMES WHICH I ALSO LOVE BUT WITH COVID THINGS SLOWED DOWN. i CANT SEEM TO GET ANYTHING OFF YOUR SITE AS EVERYTHING IS SOLD OUT. cANADA THING?
During the 10 seconds that one hat is being pressed, you can prep the other side and so on - reduces your production time so you're not just stagnant while waiting on the press and you're prepping for the next one already
Looks like a Quality Press. I don't see a Huge advantage of a Dual Press though. Especialy since Your as anal as I am with placement. I want to start doing my own tags too.

Thanks for dropping them 💎. I’m about to start using a heat press for my line.
Great video. Have you tried printing from the iColor and pressing and a hat? I'm wondering if that would work.
Hey man I’m starting my clothing line tbh I kinda just jumped in I bought a hat press and the shirt press along with the vinyl cutter.

Dope video🔥 what brand hats are those?? Where can I find them or similar

Great video as usual. You have any recommendations for wholesale hats? I like the mesh trucker hat in this video.
I got it from alphabroder
Where can i get whole sale blank caps like that?
Can you use this with any other style hats like Flex-fits? I hate trucker hats.
What transfer papers did you use for in this video
What are blank hats called where can I get some ?
I have a question about the Brother Scan N Cut machine...Yay or Nay?
I don't have any experience with it, but just gave it a quick look... looks like it just depends on what you want to use it for, it doesn't look like it's center focus is heat transfer vinyl.

Great video man!
ayy great video bro!!
What temp should I have mine and for how long ?it’s for a black garment shirt
Depends on what you’re pressing. Whatever you’re pressing will usually come with those instructions.
What brand/style is the crewneck you pressed on and are wearing, Rich?
g185 and wearing g180

Alphabroder, Superline, opentip, august caps
@@HustleNinjas thank bro💪🏽
I have those same crease using my hat heat press, what do you recommend to get rid or avoid it?
Put a piece of foam inside the hat
Wonder if it works on beanies
Keep grinding bro....i'm new to your channel and your videos help me out a lot Thanks!
Do you offer one on one sessions ?
Thank you for the great content.
How can I customize my own hat stickers for the machine ?
Order the transfers (supacolor) or make them yourself (dtf, white toner, vinyl, etc)
Your stuff is FIRE
Hoodie is dope o definitely like ur new brand
If u don’t mind can u tell me where u got ur truckers from?
augustcaps.com
so what’s the relief for scortching? is it less time on the press or lower heat? bc getting the right temps confuse me
When I did less pressure and covered it with a parchment sheet it worked for me, but I’ll have to play with it more to be sure.
Excellent Video My Friend!!!

Love, big fan from Saudia Arabia 👌👌💯💯
Thank you Mutaz!
Is it scorching due to pressure?
Mixture of pressure and no cover sheet... not too sure yet, I’ll have to play with it more
I do not see any advantage in having twin holders. Anyone care to explain?
During the 10 seconds that one hat is being pressed, you can prep the other side and so on - reduces your production time so you're not just stagnant while waiting on the press and you're prepping for the next one already
CAN SOMEONE TELL MI IF HEAT TRANSFER WEARHOUSE IS A GOOD PLACE TO BUY YOUR HEAT PRESS FROM🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ OR HEAT PRESS NATION IS BETTER
Love to help you out.
Can you try doing beanis
Just tried, it heats the material up a bit too much and ruins the garment.
My man how do you keep the hat from getting that ugly crease??
Stretch it out the best you can.
