2:50 It's not your job to argue with the offending party's insurance company. That's your insurance company's job. When you buy car insurance, it does not just cover compensation for repairs after an accident. It also gives you their legal services and representation if there's litigation due to the accident. Call up your insurance, tell them what happened, give them a copy of the video, and let them do their job (assuming you paid for half-competent insurance). Usually the mere threat of litigation will make the offending side cave when there's clear-cut evidence like this, just so they don't end up wasting money when they're sure to lose in court.
This is only true if you have collision coverage. They are not providing you with legal services. They are trying to avoid having to pay for your car themselves. If you only have liability, your insurance company will normally do nothing.

Bear in mind that that avoidance maneuver was a gamble. Cammer probably didn't have time to check to make sure the left lanes (he crossed two lanes) were clear (mirror and blind spot) before he pulled into them. And got lucky that there was nobody there. If another car had been there, this would've been one of those videos that commenters like to rail on as "idiot overreacted and changed lanes without checking if it's clear." A lot of people don't seem to understand that those two scenarios are the same thing, with only luck distinguishing whether it's a good avoidance maneuver or an unsafe lane change. Most of the time, I side with the lane change. It's usually safer to trade off a certain crash in favor of the mere possibility of a different crash. But this one comes pretty close to when I think a lane change is a bad idea. You have the certainty of a low speed crash, vs the possibility of a high speed crash (being nailed on the driver's side by a car coming up quickly in the lane to the left). Nevertheless, few things in life bring me more joy than to watch an arrogant biker elect road rash over safe riding. Only thing that would have made it better is to watch them somersault over the handle bars.
0:07 that was on purpose. Btw poor 🍗.
Are we not going to talk about the semi at 5:25? Could’ve caused a major pileup🤦🏾♂️
What's with 5:14? Whole pile of video of nothing then a truck stopping for unknown reason. No explanation?
The cammer and the trucker that stopped were arguing on the radio when the one decided to stop in the middle of the road to fight.
@@Poptartles Thanks for that... I often watch with the sound off... I couldn't figure out what the problem was either! So I re-watched it with the sound.
@@Poptartles Yeah. Unfortunately, we don't know what started the arguing.
@@Poptartles Yeah, thanks for the explanation. I couldn't figure this one out either. I heard the arguing with the other guy but didn't expect him to be in the other truck.
8:06 guy was camping in the left lane for no reason going slow then made an excuse that he was going to turn left but didnt
Haha I caught that excuse too. "I gave up on my turn" yeah okay buddy. Why would you give it up? Maybe you never had to turn in the first place xD
I hate left campers. They think they are alone on the street, don't care the others at all. But this one is so dumb, he publishes a video of his dumbness 🤦♂
6:10 hope the freeway is ok. 😂
1:31 lmaooo stop right in the middle on purpose.
I always plan to turn left soon, but I might change my mind at any moment.
The Outfield- Your Love
I am so over "Bro"
I am so over "so over"
@6:35 Nice reflexes and quality brakes.
2:53 #8: Sitting here thinking that road looked familiar...then I saw the Wabash sign and the salt depot. This is Saw Mill Run in Pittsburgh, PA. I see an increasing number of drivers here who think their mid-size SUV requires the same kind of wide turn as a semi, or who simply don't seem to be able to turn their head to check for oncoming traffic.
#21 Looks like the person was holding up the traffic and that is why the tesla did what they did. There was a lane dedicated for right turners yet it took the tesla to do what they did for that person to finally go. EL OH EL.
busy traffic, no gap, no go. could be a newby without the skillset yet to go
#17 Karma on display. Wonder how many cars the Motor-Psycho blamed
No. 9 - contact the department of banking and insurance for the state you live in. Report the insurance carrier to them for their response to the claim. Also blast them online. They don’t like both of those things.
#2 hey man, get a work out while you can..
6:56 I see them daily. Literally. Flip them off, too.
2:48 Uses blinker finally after not using a blinker and nearly hitting a truck after crossing 2 lanes of traffic. Totally makes sense.
#1 that poor pup.. :(
its why they should be restrained in the car, by crate or seatbely (they make them for dogs) would hate to lose my dog due to someone elses stupid
@@rogerw-interested You don't know that it's not restrained.
@@rogerw-interested Exactly, they do have seatbelts for dogs. I hope he isn't an aggressive driver or that poor pup will be slung around a lot.
No. 3 crazy I live right by that brewery... Loring park area, something told me to look up car accidents cuz I like these videos and seeing if they are in Minnesota... that was a crazy synchronicity
And a good Police album.
7:30 ok, but what are y'all waiting for? there is a dedicated merge lane
#1 Aaaaaaand that's why you place your food on the floorboard when transporting it....
1:45 Maybe if you weren't driving for extended distances in the left lane, that wouldn't have been such a close call.
#9 - Cruising along in someone's blind-spot isn't the best idea
#11 - Well done on that nope-out
#13 - Swoop-n-squat insurance fraud?
Blind spot my foot...
WTF are you talking about?
They were in the right lane, the Durango was in the middle lane and made a lane change without first signaling and probably without checking their mirror to see if it was clear, and was not paying attention when the cammer sounded their horn...
3:41 Cammer, if they are your friends in the car telling you not to get involved, it's time to get some new ones.
6:00 The only thing worse than road rash at 90mph, is listening to that crap coming out of those speakers!
1:25 how about they turned from the wrong lane? that seems pretty crazy too.
4:19 Just when text is needed, nothing appears. Brake check gone wrong? Insurance scam?
4:13 I always try not to GOO too fast.😲
Same here, but sometimes you just can't help it...
If you know what I mean...😉
3:03 That is why you should never swerve in situations like that, let them clip you and then you have definitive proof they caused damage. Based on the video there was NO contact between the vehicles although it was close.
2:26 Uhm........ what in the Insurance-Fraud-Encouragement spitroasting frulling hell??? You can't tell me that any LEGITIMATE insurance company would behave that way......
The first rule when watching Dashcam videos is don't believe any of these cammer BS stories!
@@pazuzu7119 thats one but it can happen depending on what the lady told her insurance company. The "its just a little scratch nothing major" type of shit so insurance would try to hook you and get away from paying more by sending you a check and once cashing it they off the hook as you accepted that option.
what's that giant concrete dome at 2:46?
Usually storage for road salt/sand to keep rain from washing it away.
3:02 I did not see or hear any contact between the two cars
I've had my dash cam about 3 weeks now. I think I'm just fortunate not to attract accidents or bad drivers around me. Even before I got the dash cam. Today perfect example. Driving kid to school. Coming back there was an accident that must have happened no more than 10-15 minutes after I had Bern on the road. Saw it coming back. Not the first time that has happened. Unfortunate for anyone 10-15 minutes behind me maybe.
You were driving in Switzerland?
3:07 if you don't have full coverage, take the offending party to small claims. With it being small claims, I wouldn't even bother with their insurance, I'd sue the owner of that vehicle. Get a quote for estimated repairs and sue for that amount. If it exceeds the maximum in small claims, sue for the maximum allotted for small claims (it's $5,000 here in Michigan - at least it was a few years ago).
Aboslutely. I have never heard of "if the insured vehicle isn't damaged, there's no claim for the other vehicle". If that's the case, a person were to tow a ton of loose cinder blocks, one falls off and smashes somebody's grille, no claim because the truck towing cinder blocks wasn't damaged? I don't think so
@@vivillager I was once told, by my own insurance (who I've since dropped), that my newly wed wife wasn't covered (medically) because she hadn't changed her last name to mine yet. I told him, "BS, what about the people that never change their last name?". That idiot thought he could pull a fast one on a newly wed couple. I really hope nobody fell for his BS
2:50 dodge/jeep drivers on Staten Island never look before changing
🎵"That'll be alright as long as there's sunshine
And a Sisyphus brew".....
#9 well, why swerve into the cement wall? Let them hit you next time. I mean I get the whole "try and avoid collisions" but how can you when there is a cement wall next to you? Best to just let them hit you. Of course since ya'll didn't touch they won't stop. It is a crappy situation and should be their fault, but ya'll didn't hit.
Yeah right Chevy lier, you were parked on the corner:)
Minneapolis law is no parking within 20 feet of the corner. Based on the camera view (Redtiger F7N has a FOV of 170 degrees), he's either legal or just a hair too close.
The 30 second in video isn't the first time he was rear ended. He should be used to it.
3:13. Why does he have a trailer hitch in the front?
They used to do that for launching boats, because I guess reversing was too difficult. It could also be used for a hitch-mounted bike rack.
2:32 keep your hand off my car👍
#19 When there 1 one, there is usually more.
1:28 there's a reason its illegal to turn left here
@8:08 you know damn well you were camping the left lane and had no left turn. unless youre trying to say you changed your whole days plans because one guy lmao yeah ok
Did temu buy every ad space on RUclips...soo annoying
What ads, use an ad blocker.
A lot of these clips make stupid claims about insurance fraud when incompetence is the best explanation but #13 is the most obvious insurance fraud I've seen.
6:05 w...what ? What made him brake so hard ?
8:26 How that man is still alive with that stupid attitude amazes me. The cammer did nothing to trigger him from what I can see but he is stupid enough to flip the cammer off.
5:28 #18 Moron has no business having a drivers license! That was a dangerous and illegal move! Dude almost ate it.
8:25 You don't seem to be used to driving around populated areas I assume. That's pretty normal, he didn't go in front of you... cars go a lot faster than people ya know, by the time he'd be where the car is - you'd be past him. A bit of an overreaction there I'd say
3:20 Looks like he is on the way to do a repo. Probably got a tips and is why he is in a hurry. Not excusing his behavior.
