The box opening videos on various You Tube videos are what helped me decide on which boxes would best suit me, so thank you for putting these videos out there. What I want in a box is different than other folk since I alrready have a stash and notions. I was looking to learn some new skills with project boxes that included most everything you needed to complete a project. Hence, I decided to get the Sewers Club box and the Open Gate box. The other boxes have qualities that will suit others, based on their needs. So sad that a company would make threats.

I’m only guessing which boxes you are talking about, but I think the boxes are speaking for themselves because I was so disappointed with the first box. I went looking for any reviews of future boxes and found some of your videos. I could not find anything much, but the reviews I have read, back up your opinion. I cannot believe the company is so heavy handed. I think you are marvellous. Don’t be discouraged. I am a big fan of yours now because you have helped me reach a decision. i watch a lot of these unboxing. if boxes were quality to start with they wouldn’t need to worry about utube unboxing comments. personally i switch up my box subscriptions and try something new. i watch these unboxing not to really hear you opinion but to watch the unboxing to make up my own mind. if i do get the box and maybe i am not pleased with it i will go watch all the unboxings i can . i find then people like yourself giving me a second look at the box and ideas how to use it that i didn’t think about. good luck with your channel and honesty is the best policy - if not what do they have to hide?
There’s a lot I want to say about all this, but it’s all been said already, so I’ll just say shame in them. I watched a couple of your earlier videos, I too, had my knee replaced 6 months ago and I know the struggle you’re dealing with. It is by far, the most difficult thing I’ve ever experienced. It will get better. You will sleep again! Sleep was my biggest challenge! I don’t know about you, but the ice machine was everything. Hang in there!

If you cannot express your own opinion, what's next? That kind of censorship is inexcusable. I was already subscribed to your channel but have only watched a few videos so far, so I have no clue which videos were considered problematic. I didn't see anything wrong with the ones I viewed. The sad thing is that many of us did not get to watch the videos and form our own opinions. I watch videos all the time made by people whose opinions I do not agree with, and it's important to be able to say "I respectfully disagree with something you said, because _________." A company can choose how to respond, and IF they are smart - which is a BIG IF these days - they will use the opportunity to develop a better rapport with their customers and/or use the opportunity to improve their customer service, merchandise or whatever. Just shutting someone down without listening to them or even having a discussion is NOT the way to foster goodwill with potential customers. I don't even know the parties involved, but I still have strong opinions about them, whoever they are. LOL

Honestly, I watch unboxings to get feedback that might help me decide whether or not I'd want to purchase that subscription. When I hear several less than stellar reviews on a particular box, I know that I'll steer clear of it. I liked that you admitted that you made an error and told us so. Maybe instead of threatening you, the company should try to make it right.

You are not the only person that feels that way, and you are not hurting their business, they have done that themselves way before you came along. You were being truthful about a subpar product. It wasn’t Mrs. Quilty. I have seen an improvement in their fabric but it still needs to get better. Of course with getting better quality fabric the price of the box will go up. Which is fine in my opinion. I pay for quality not quantity.
Cominf from Hollys channel and I can only say the company who harassed and bullied you should get out if the retail business. They are a service company who sells subscription boxes to the public and if they cant take criticism they need to close up shop. People watch channels like Hollys and your to get HONEST feedback. They assumed the watcher was stupid and could not form and opinion for themselves, very wrong of them. If they truly are putting out superior subscriptions they will not lose business. But now all the viewers who saw they bullying will tell 10 people and so on and so on. They shot themselves in the foot. Keep up the good work. A company can choose how to respond, and IF they are smart - which is a BIG IF these days - they will use the opportunity to develop a better rapport with their customers and/or use the opportunity to improve their customer service, merchandise or whatever. Just shutting someone down without listening to them or even having a discussion is NOT the way to foster goodwill with potential customers. I don't even know the parties involved, but I still have strong opinions about them, whoever they are. LOL
I agree. Having conversations is so important in today’s society. It’s sad that some have a knee jerk reaction and feel threatened when there was no intention of harm.

They sent a somewhat snarky reply to my comment on the video as well. If they have to strong-arm youtubers to keep the lid on how bad their service is, then they need to re-think their business model. Just my $0.02.

Honestly, I watch unboxings to get feedback that might help me decide whether or not I'd want to purchase that subscription. When I hear several less than stellar reviews on a particular box, I know that I'll steer clear of it. I liked that you admitted that you made an error and told us so. Maybe instead of threatening you, the company should try to make it right.

Carrie, we all know that that the harrassment is coming from Mrs Quilty. It is ashame that they took this route. This only makes my opinion of their box is truthful. You are not the only person that feels that way, and you are not hurting their business, they have done that themselves way before you came along. You were being truthful about a subpar product. It wasn’t Mrs. Quilty. I have seen an improvement in their fabric but it still needs to get better. Of course with getting better quality fabric the price of the box will go up. Which is fine in my opinion. I pay for quality not quantity.
Cominf from Hollys channel and I can only say the company who harassed and bullied you should get out if the retail business. They are a service company who sells subscription boxes to the public and if they cant take criticism they need to close up shop. People watch channels like Hollys and your to get HONEST feedback. They assumed the watcher was stupid and could not form and opinion for themselves, very wrong of them. If they truly are putting out superior subscriptions they will not lose business. But now all the viewers who saw they bullying will tell 10 people and so on and so on. They shot themselves in the foot. Keep up the good work.
