Hola Donde descargaste la versión
Here to report almost three years later, this video and your links are perfect. I formatted using MS-FAT on Mac, check MD5 via terminal (dragged the file into Terminal window) hash matched, firmware updated from 59 directly to the 70.00.335 without any errors. Kit should arrive tomorrow. THANK YOU!
Kit arrived today. Installed. Apple car play is working perfect!
Hey my OS Version is 59.00.502 NA but it seems to keep telling me that there are no new update packages available. I’ve followed all the steps with checking the hash marks and formatting the drive but i can’t seem to get the update to appear. Even have the same Usb stick as the video. Any help?
Thanks Bryce. My 2017 CX5 infotainment system was driving me crazy by constantly resetting itself. Your firmware update saved my $200 from the dealership and hopefully solved my problem! Plus now I can upgrade to android auto if I so decide. Much appreciated my friend !!!!
May 24 still very helpful vid! Went from 59.441 straight to 74 without a hitch. About 40 mins with the breaks. 2016.5 cx5. Many thanks!!!!
Where did you get the 74... version?
Hey, just wanted to say thank you! Your google drive with the update and instructions was awesome. Also, I used my Macbook and everything worked great!
Thank you!! I just updated my Mazda3! I printed out the instructions and played the video along with the steps. It worked perfectly the first time!

did you not experience any problem after updating when you used the North American upgrade for your SE Asian original firmware?
Thanks man, 3 years later and I updated my 16 CX5 no problem. Going to tackle retrofitting Android Auto next
I did the 1-step update from 56.00 using the provided files with no issues just today. Thank you!
Thank you for hosting the firmware file! I was running the AIO Mazda tweaks version of the firmware and Android Auto was so sketchy and always quit out at the wrong times so I decided to get the official hardware for my 18 GT and needed this update. Although I lost a few things I really liked I decided the official hardware and working Android Auto was worth the trade-off. Everything worked perfectly and this video helped a lot thank you
Thanks a lot for your help! Went from 31 to 70 in about 20 minutes on a 2015 Mazda 3
Man, I never thought I'd receive instructions from Mikey Musumeci for my Mazda.
😂
It worked! Thank you!!
I’d like to add that I had to format my usb drive to FAT32 in order for my Mazda Connect to recognize it.
Thank you very much. This worked like a charm. I purchased this car via a Japan Auto dealer. Not only did this update the firmware but I now have the English option.
Thank you so much for this. I just did a 2014 Mazda 3 Sport. Went from “55.00.753 NA N” straight to the version you posted. No issues at all and everything seems to be working well including the Mazda maps/navigation with my SD card. After that I spent a couple of hours installing the new USB hub and voila. Now I have Car Play in my 2014 Mazda. :)
Where do I get the files?
@@Tony1KADay It's in the video description.
Nice! What guide did you use to install hardware?
Thank you! I never could of done the software update + Android Auto without your help. I just bought a 2017 MX5 with a bad touch screen display. So, while I had it apart to replace the digitizer, I figured, what the heck, let's do the Android Auto update and add the cabin air filter mod. Thank you, again.
Worked with 2016 CX5. Upgraded from 59 to 74 from New York. My first failed because of USB (FAT32 8GB) defect, so I tried a different one (FAT32 2GB) worked!! THANK you!

Does it work with Chromebook or you used Windows?
@@winterMB91 I used windows but as long as you can zip/unzip on chromeos it might work - i would be careful tho!
Thanks a million, Bryce! Updated from v.59 to 70.00.335C thanks to your very detailed instructions. Just saw the comments that 70.00.352B is available now so I'll update to that too while I'm waiting on my CarPlay hardware to come in. Appreciate all the help!
where can I download the latest files? thanks, boss
Where did you get the files?
Excellent video. Followed it to the tee and it worked perfectly in my 2016 CX5 Grand Touring. Now I can tear apart my dash and install the new USB hub to get Android Auto.
I updated my firmware following your step by step and it worked 100% !!! I did the update with the previous hub the original one and then I changed to the new one with the CarPlay..
Liked, and subscribed brother. At first the USB wasn’t working, so I looked online to see what’s going on. I had it formatted as FAT32 so I knew that’s not the problem. It turns out after I’ve done a complete formatting (not the quick one) it didn’t work anymore. Luckily I had a second one and I was able
To do it with that one. Easyto install if you follow the steps. Thanks a lot again!
Worked flawlessly on my 2016 CX-5. Thanks for taking the time to make this!
