I have a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland high altitude when I put the usb in two months ago it kept saying iso was unsupported or something like that I gave up I added music to the same usb and connected it and gave me the same error so I started driving around and decided to see if it the music I added worked one more time and it gave me the update option and I started the process took about 15 mins came back to this video and checked that everything was correct and it’s completed it finally worked 😎 thanks for the info my guy

For my MAC users. Max sure you reformat your flash drive to FAT. Not EXFat. Also when you reformat you have to erase everything on the flash drive so save the individual files, reformat to FAT then move the files back onto the flash drive.
For anyone struggling, I just did the update with some small hurtles. When you download the file to the usb, extract file from the compressed zip folder. Once done, move the files out the folder and delete the now empty folder. Start the car and insert the usb and everything should work!

Mine says files not supported what am I doing wrong ?
I extracted from the zip straight onto the usb. Hopefully this works

my jeeop says it needs an update on the car radio but when i go to the uconnect site no up date is shown when i pot my vin it but says head unit cant detect contact the dealership.

My 2015 300 does the same thing. It works tho when I put in a address, but if I just have the map on the little car will just keep going straight on the map. Going through lakes, fields and whatever

Is there a seperate one to fix the GPS issues? My navigation keeps showing my location totally wrong, often times 20-30 miles away from where I actually am. I was hoping this update would fix it but if there's a separate one , I should probably get it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)
@Sprite With The Burner I was able to go to the website, type in my Vin number and then downloaded the update to a USB. it was very easy, Just follow the steps once you plug it into your car's USB port . Took around 15 minutes I think
@@thebeeskneestreasures3596 Well I have an issue after update also.. was advised to do a factory reset to default. But what next no one knows. I do have a MOPAR lifetime warranty and the system had a issue prior to me doing the update. It would randomly tell the driver to go East when the destination was West on the Interstate. Now it says Speed Limit on interstate is 45MPH.. and it took away the Fuel Price Search on the Travel Link App...

Just did it🥳🥳 just remember to CLICK & DRAG the files from the folder to desktop screen then delete EVERYTHING from USB then click and drag just the files from the desktop back to the USB and you’re golden!!!

Thank you so very much and I'm looking forward now to do my wife's car radio. Do you know IF it will fix the Map function also? The other day her's kind of only shows roads when you ZOOM OUT......not close as it only shows the little triangle with no roads.

My vehicle was up to date but the stereo continued to skip. Luckily I found this solution: APPS, Settings, Clear Personal Data
HERE IS A TIP! I tried with 2 different, first with a multiuse usb and SD card BUT it’s working right now with a usb normal with only one connection, it’s the correct usb that you have to use 👍🏻
What do I do if the “view available updates” doesn’t show up after the “UPDATE AVAILABLE” screen? I’ve reached this screen multiple times, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten each time.

I had so many issues now fixed. 2014 Jeep Cherokee, stock software . Trying to update Jan 2024. Initially tried using my 256g flash drive with software loaded. The Jeep wouldn’t recognize it. Found an old USB 2.0 sandisk cruzer glide 16 gb. Did a quick reformat to fat32. It errored out 3 times. Asking me to
Remove and reinsert flash drive.
I had to do a long full reformat that took multiple hours. While that was going on I turned off the car .
When the flash drive completed its long reformat I directly exported the zip files to the usb stick. Started the Jeep beck up and after a couple min it asked me to put the flash drive back in . Put the freshly reformatted USB flash drive with the directly exported zip files into the usb port. Updated first try no issues. Hope that helps

I tried to go to the website but it says my car is up to date, I went into the dealer screen to check and it is not 18.45.1 but an earlier version. Is there anyway to find the download for this version? Left a like on the video hopefully I can find this download soon.
Good video and what not but you really could cut out about 3-4 minutes of watching the upload screens and what not. 👍

my 2015 ram is on update 18.11 and the BT swtiches to AUX at random, screen takes long to load and backup camera stays on for a while when swtiched back to Drive. will the update to 18.45 help?

I have been trying to get this update on my RA4 radio for the longest time. Neither uconnect nor my dealership could find the update as the uconnect website says that my radio is up to date even though it’s on 17.11.07. As expected, I still have the navigation and clock issues. Do you by any chance have the files for the 18.45.01 update? You would save trouble for a lot of people.
Go to www.driveuconnect.com/support/software-update.html and put in your VIN, it'll tell you what update you're eligible for.
updates are depending on your vin...so i wouldnt put a update from a vin other than your car

My 2016 Durango R/T is saying I have v18.45.01, but that Uconnect website says there is an update for my vehicle. Does Uconnect release new revision updates for v18.45.01?
been having pretty major Bluetooth connection problems for a year or two, possibly since I updated to v18.45.01
I also had radio issues, the XM disappeared and I couldn't use any of the am or FM radios, you can plug in the same version of the software and it will ask you if you want to reinstall it and you can choose to do so to see if it helps you... also one of the comments above said that clearing personal data help them with something too
I loaded per guidance updated from 18.43.01 to 18.45.01 things were fine. Decided to get the new HERE map program. Once that loaded which took a couple of hours to complete seemed fine on a neighborhood drive. Wife then drove her Cherokee to a store 25 miles away and had issues with some of the Apps that were on the system prior to the upload. The Travel link system seems to be the app with the most problems. The Fuel Prices does not run anylonger, and when she was on the interstate system told her speed limit was 45 MPH. Back to the drawing board..

So it came up on my display screen an update was needed. I was driving came home turned off my van and now my radio uconnect camera etc nothing is working. I typed in my VIN and it says my system is up to date. Any ideas ? Oh and it is Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 2010

I had a hard time with this forever but if you just format your drive to FAT32 then load the extracted files into the drive, then plug it in and your good to go.

Thanks for the info. I have 2017 Pacifica. After update the system to 18.45.01, I found my navigation system will not able to save address to favorite. The "save" menu is grey out. Now, I cannot add any new address to the system. Is there a way to fix it? Thank you.
