I wonder what the expression is for the caffeine gene. My mother was a slow metabolizer, my dad was a fast metabolizer. I am a, how to say, a moderate metabolizer, I am good with coffee and caffeine with moderate amounts, reasonably taken. Is there a progressive penetrance of the caffeine gene?

Also what needs to be tested i believe is our microbial genetic material in us ?

i love her demonstration however i disagree with the slow and fast metabolism studies because based on alot of personal studies i have done the last 5 yrs. Everyones genes and DNA are not the same. there are so many people with diverse or mixed genetics that each persons diet is like their own password code to how fast or slow they metabolize food. certain people DNA can metabolize certain substances differently than others. coffee can metabolize through someones body versus someone elses but the coffee drinker may not be able to metabolize fruits and vegetables as fast as the person who can.

My body loves coffee and take good benefits of it but only one cup 6 o’clock in the morning that’s it , and 1 l liter of water 💦 👌👌👌☕️

Funny😘,I do almost the same and met no one like us( about 1/2-2 liters for me before the coffee when I wake up early...I thk it's even bad for kidneys lol, all at once,water😆...but I feel "fresh " idk...you are very right.).the only difference with you is: I still feel a "crash",a comedown few hours later/or at noon....I need more...OR sugar instead/ stimulant like red bull/ chocolate, solid or liquid, that wake you up...don't you??I don't see that water is "the answer" for our 1st coffee to be the only one...&I don't think that the water "dissolves" the coffee...I tried exactly like you (even more with my 2 liters lol)but...if you need nothing else after... keep it up, you are lucky that it's enough for you!!XOX🤍🤍

Theobromine and Caffeine are both xanthines, but I don’t know if they’re metabolized the same way. Does anyone know?

Doesn’t metabolization of caffeine pertain to Pharmacogenomics?
