    Looks great 👍. I would turn the Amber's into fogs.

    Nice review! How do you like the diode dynamics compared to the black oak? I have the black oaks right now and I’m thinking about upgrading

    • @NSQGarage
      @NSQGarage  2 года назад

      i really think they are far superior. the black oaks just seem so out of date. and the finish has not lasted. i cannot speak about the finish on the DDs though, as I haven't owned them nearly as long

      @@NSQGarage thanks for the reply. I’m probably going to get at least the set of fogs. From what I’ve seen and heard the diode dynamics are about the best there is

    Hey I appreciate your video. I'm debating whether to install SS3 fog lights or SS3 driving lights. I have a Toyota Camry. You did say you can change from driving to fog to flood by switching lenses, right?

      Yes! It looks like they are $30 a piece on their website.

      @@JK-wn1dm yeah no problem. It's a pretty low risk decision then. If they aren't what you want, you can just try a different lens

      What happened with the cooling system in the heat of summer???
      We never got a follow up & I have 2 trucks with the same issue, impossible to tow with them…

      @@billclark7550 it is certainly better than before. i still have to watch my temp gauge and though. i tried to tow up and over Teton pass outside of Jackson, WY and quickly turned around. but that is a pretty extreme test.

    Could you drive with the drive beam pattern with oncoming traffic with out getting flashed? I would replace some fog lights so I wonder with them being low if it would help from getting flashed.

      Yes, if you set up the angles correctly you can drive with them on the road. It's pretty neat. I have mine angled a little higher, so I probably wouldn't be legal.

    Why do you need cooling fins on an LED light. I thought one of the Benefits of LED is minimal heat output.

    • @NSQGarage
      @NSQGarage  3 года назад

      Apparently they produce heat internally and if not managed it can lessen the life of the light. (Well, according to google)

    • @MiguelRPD

      They produce heat and it needs to be managed because too much shortens their life span and output.

      Late response.
      The LEDs don't produce much heat themselves, but the drivers do.
      They're still very efficient compared to traditional light bulbs
