      Not a chance. The DGO sensor in the C300 III and C70 is also claimed to be 16+ stops. It technically DOES have that much "dynamic range", but the usable amount is closer to 14 stops.
      Using the R3 as a benchmark for a stacked sensor (I would be surprised if the R1 or R5 II are noticeable improvements in video DR) they are likely to have between 12 and 13 stops of usable dynamic range.

      It will never get CLOG 2, it uses the R5's sensor which is only about 11 stops of DR, CLOG2 needs at least 14 stops or you will unrecoverably lose parts of the DR that you cannot recover in post, this is why the R7 and R6 also do not have CLOG2.

    • @VUMEDIAGroup
      @VUMEDIAGroup Месяц назад +1

      @@pepsiq210200 You can't get more DR in post than the sensor supports. The sensor is limited to around 11 stops, conforming footage to 16 stops with 4 of them unusable is still only 11 stops. I am hoping the R5II actually has the claimed 16 stops....more than likely it is 15 but still way better than 11...the fact Canon finally added CLOG2 means they must be telling the truth at least somewhat.
