I have always been fascinated by 2d animation. The first movie my Mom took me to was Bambi which was showing in New York when I was about 5. Years later as a young man I went into the Hanna Barbera Studio near Hollywood and was welcomed by Jane Barbera and given a grand tour of the studio. They were so nice. I walked out piled up with animation cells, paper animation pegs and more. What fun I had experimenting with all that stuff!

That's currently a dilemma I'm having, as I'm trying to do that now, but there's also that divide when it comes to receiving direct and immediate feedback. I'm in the process of applying now and I'm looking some good trade schools for Animation and Game Art & Design, so I'lll have to see what I can do. I've made some attempts with 2D Animation and 3D sculpting, but I've yet to tinker with Unity.

@@CydoniaOS Hey, I'm currently doing the same thing right now, I'm looking for some trade schools for animation but I can't seem to find any good ones. I want to do in person for the immediate feedback and assistance as you said, but with Covid, im not too sure. How did you do? did you find the school you were looking for?

But I got to stop giving up and keep om trying. Not everything had to be perfect the nest thing for me to do is to do my best and follow my dreams.

Depends how fast you want the ball to bounce. Let's say you want it to take half a second to complete one bounce loop, from one high point to the next. The common frame rate for animation is 24 frames per second, so it would take 12 frames per bounce. Frame 1 would be the highest point, frame 13 would be identical and be the start of the next cycle. The ball would hit the ground on frame 7. These three frames are known as 'keyframes', from here it is simply a case of making more drawings 'in-between' the keys. Remember to space out the ball's position correctly. Near the top of the bounce (frames 2,3,4 and 10, 11, 12) the ball will be very close to it's previous position, but around the moment of contact (frames 5,6 and 8,9) it will need to be drawn further apart.
      Hope that helps.
