Finally MOVADO is giving signs of life. The museum was both a blessing and a curse for the brand in my opinion. My dads uncle had some gorgeous elegant gold movado but that was before the museum, nowadays their brand is pretty low but one can hope.
It's quite expensive, but interesting move. I wish the bowl shape of the Movado dots would also have been maintained at 12 o'clock. To me a missed opportunity in coherence. Love the dial colour. That's spot on. Quite like the dial texture, but think it could have been even more attractive with a tweak or to on shape and proportion. It would be on the large side for me and I can't quite decide if the markers and hands are OK or just a little too bland, whereas the bracelet and bezel follow an really interesting take on applying the Movado dot.
Maybe I just wasn't alive for the Movado boom, but I don't understand everyone's excitement about this brand. I started swapping batteries for the older guys at work recently and 80% of them are Movados. They're ugly and seem poorly made for their price.
A unspectacular looking watch. Very forgettable. I realize no one will pay $1800 for that watch but I'm still shocked Movado is asking that much. Maybe it's a nice watch. I know the movement is solid but if Movado thinks they can ask almost $2k for a watch, they need to make a MUCH better looking watch.
I bought one from a factory store for less than 800 on the last Memorial Day. After two weeks, the error is less than 1 second against an atomic clock. I am impressed. Also the build quality is very solid. You feel the weight when wearing it. Through a magnifier, the dial looks amazing.

Nice Movado, maybe they can capture some love again after the last couple of decades.
i just saw this on a Movado Outlet store, at $700s after all discounts, it looks way better in person
I had several Sport Editions back in 2001-2002. They even came on rubber straps back then with a rubber cabochon on the crown. Nice to see the new SE.
I've never liked Movado except old datrons...but I really like this.
I saw it on a magazine an was like is that an integrated bracelet Movado? Loved the APish dial as well
Dude it’s the perfect size and everything. It’s a sign. It’s calling to you. This means something! (proceeds to build a mashed potato mountain…)

I like it, & I happen to have an 7.1/4" wrist too
wasn't expecting that.....an avocado movado!
😃 Funny...or maybe the dot at 12 is an olive!
@@rbsafe So that makes it an Avocado Movartini (Movado Martini), ain't gonna drink that!
@@stavros_katsopr Yeah, me neither. I hear the quartz version of this is called Movacamole and Chips.
That's a rather nice looking watch.
According to the Movado site, it's a 41mm case, and 100 meters of water resistance.
Honestly it’s a actually kinda neat
Great looking watch. Index at 12 o'clock ruins everything though 😏
Not enough taper on the bracelet, but nice departure from their other Macy's bullshit
Great watch but butterfly clasp sucks indeed.
Scratch magnet. Nice though
Ehhh … IMO it doesn’t quite hold together design-wise. It looks like a committee got ahold of it. Nice waffles tho!

Good looking watch, for sure. But for the price, and the specs (50m WR, and selita movement, I’d rather get the Tissot PRX, for under $800
