I made a seed separator!

This ingenious bit of kit allows you to separate the seed from the chaff!
Using just a domestic vacuum cleaner I was able to control the suction rate of the seed separator making it possible to use this on many different types of seeds. In our Forest garden we are growing a plethora of edible plants including Szechuan Pepper.
The fruits of the Szechuan pepper are harvested in late autumn but the seed inside in not required as it is tasteless and gritty. Once the fruits are dried naturally, the red husks then split open revealing the black seed. After running it through the seed separator I was able to remove about 90% of the seeds.
