My goal is to live my life in such a way I have earned Silver Leaves to be played at my funeral. Translation of the Finnish lyrics at the end: Someday we will meet again But my time is running out I leave a piece of myself With the silver leaves Someday I'll hear the silence Filling this void And in the end I’m buried with the silver leaves In Japanese Enka silver leaves might symbolize the passage of time (reflecting a sense of melancholy or nostalgia), evoke an image of autumn / the approach of winter (symbolizing the later stages of life, fading beauty, or lost love) or evoke a peaceful / pure state of mind (in the context of reminiscing about a serene moment in the past). Silver leaves might also represent the fleeting beauty of nature and life, an awareness of the impermanence of things and a gentle sadness at their passing. To bury something with silver leaves suggests laying something to rest (such as a memory, a person, an idea, or perhaps two metal albums) with dignity and honor, perhaps wrapping it in something valuable or beautiful. What a way to end Time saga!
The whole Wintersun album is an incredible whole. Storm is definitely the most inspiring for me, the one that gets my imagination going the best and to which I have written several chapters of my fantasy project. However, I think this silver leaves is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Thank you Amie for making this album. You seem to enjoy Jari's music just as much as I do. You are wonderful❤️! ps. I think I will go watch it again when you react to the Storm song.
This is the first time I hear this song. I didn't listen to it before. I decided to wait for your reaction. And I am delighted. I know that Jary is the Mozart of melidic metal music. But this melody has captured my heart even more. It is incomparable. Thank you very much for reviewing the new album of Wintersun!!!
Amie know you have these vikings jari teemu jukka and kai forever in your mind after experiencing this metal masterpiece on this epic journey together with your subscribers kiitos or thank you in finnish amie . Much love Wintersun Alex in Texas ❄️♥️
This album has so many japanese sound vibes that for a moment looked like I was hearing Whispered (a finnish band focused on japanese lore, recommend ya to react), but has the incredible compositive touch and signature voice of Jari. This album is a great comeback and a worthy sequel of Time I.
Have you heard Jinjer yet? Even though they are quite different bands, they once toured with Wintersun. I suggest Jinjer - Pisces (Live Session). Excellent band blessed with quite a unique frontwoman, Tatiana.
Jari singing in finnish at the end, is definitely the cherry on top of this beautiful song.

Storm is the most epic and Silver Leaves the most beautifull. And Jari singing in Finnish...❤❤❤
