I have to put One With The Shadows as the best on this album, since I've been keeping Loneliness and now Silver Leaves on their own category of epicness. The more I've listened, the more I'm liking all of the songs. The best part for everyone is that now we have more Wintersun to listen to!

This last part of vocaling is finnis language. I am pure finnis guy. But I didnt first realise, that Jari sing as finnish. Reason of that is the timing of set words. We finns, dont time words like this. But it is so great ! Joskus vielä näen sinut uudestaan... I think, that this song/ lyricks is telling forgotten love one. Anyway, this is masterpiece !!!
It’s fascinating to me how many people say they didn’t like it at first, but after a few listens absolutely loved it. That is my experience with all Wintersun. Goes from meh to my favorite thing ever if I give it a chance.

Totally understand what you mean - I guess it always depends on your own personal situation how a song makes you feel and how you connect to it. For me, the whole album is great, but Silver Leaves speaks to me on a personal level. I have been forced to face the fact that time is very limited and these kinds of songs are somehow very comforting to me. Also, since Finnish is my ”emotional language”, the Finnish part is just gold. Thanks for your nice reaction!
After listening this album about 50 times this has grown to be my favourite and i totally understand why Jari says that this is probably the best song he ever wrote. Storm however is a bit hard for me. It has nice riffs and solos, great notes and everything but it's still a bit too much. Maybe a i need 50 more listens to really start loving it.
This song has its way of growing on you more and more. It started to appear in my mind more than any other song on the record. I couldn't call it my favorite from the album, but considering the fact that I can call this album my favorite Wintersun album ever it is in top 3 songs from them. Cheers guys!
About perkele... there is this one finnish band called Diablo that you have reacted to before. Their song "the preacher" starts with the bestest and mightiest of all shouted Perkeles! It's such a banger song, worth reacting to or just listen to it without the camera🤘
Sad that Wintersundays are now over. The windy/rainy/watery outtro could have been shorter. This is definitely my favorite song on Time Ii. I think I had it on infinite repeat when I first got the album!

Nothing he could've wrote would ever meet the expectations. This album carried such a baggage, that I'm amazed it exist in the first place. Enough time (heh) has passed and I never followed any hype pieces. That I can say in a vacuum this is great and I've grown to like it more
"I have so much in my life, but all I can think and all I can see is you". The tears and goosebumps were real when listening this song for the first time. Just shows the insane range of Jari's talent. Doing these soul-touching power-ballads to heaviest growls and guitar solos that move mountains. Funny stuff tho, listen Time I from the beginning right after Silver Leaves - see what happend? Time is eternal.
For me, the first time hearing silver leaves was also "underwhelming" and I was almost disappointed, but the more I listened to it the more it speaks to me and now it has to be one of my favourites. Being finnish and understanding the lyrics for the finnish part might play a role to that though. Loved the wintersundays from the start! Can't wait for the next wintersun album and hopefully the reincarnation of wintersundays ;)
When I gave it my first listen I didn't really feel it but after a few times of hearing the song it has became my favorite song on the album. It might take some time to grow on you :)
It's definitely heavy black rain. On the playlist following Ryuichi Sakamoto's theme from 'Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence' and Hans Zimmer's song 'The Final Confrontation' from 'Black Rain'. Antonio's version of 'Lai Lai Hei' goes somewhere between Nils-Aslak Valkeapää's yoik 'Beaivi, Áhčážanand' and Auringon Hauta's song 'Veden loihtu', which is a water spell. Finnish and Japanese do have similarities-it's no secret. For pastime you can come up Finnish sentences like "Hajosiko Tojotasi? Mokomaki Hikimaja" ("Did your Toyota break down? That darn sweat lodge!"), which sound Japanese and in Japan they can make fun of Finnish surnames. Videos: "Semmarit - Bonsai" and "Japanese person makes fun of Finnish surnames".
I love this song. It perfectly serves to cap off the TIME experience, by which I mean not only the album, but also the waiting half of our lives for the resolution. I get where you're coming from though, it's the most "progressive" (progressive in the sense that it goes beyond that which the band has typically done) Wintersun song in my opinion. The song makes little sense as a single, but in the context of the whole album it fulfills it's role as a closer.

Such a great song and album but the production fails the material for me. The drums sound artificial, so unnecessay with the worldsbest drummer performing. Even the alternative versions from the package, while better, could have been so much more. Still - great song!
Wintersun fans be like the Little League mom of a 10 year old. Their boy makes contact with the ball and hits a routine fly ball to the outfield and mom is like "OMG that hit was AMAZING Johnny". Everyone gets a trophy in today's world right? 😆 This was a nice little 3-4 minute song of average Jari capabilities stretched out way too thin and all the fanboys are claiming it to be so amazing. He carries the same melody way too long and adds effects that are also way too long. The greatest trick that Jari ever pulled was taking the contents of a 17 minute EP and stretch it to fool all his fanboys into it being a full length sequel. Great job Jari, you pulled it off perfectly!
that outro is way too long. I can kinda get it if I'm just listening to the album, but it's annoying in a playlist or in a car. But other than that 11/10 song
