One fact, the more I (you) listen Time II (or WS in general) the more I (you) like it. This song was not my favorite a month ago, still isn't but I have to say it is pretty damn good song. Finnish part is sooooo good. What a good ending for Time II. One with the Shadows is the best, imo (from Time II album).
Honestly Time as a whole it probably my fav music album of all time (no pun intended). For me none of the songs had to be growers, they pretty much clicked instantly!

There are components (the main theme and the string violin like instrument) in this song that remind traditional chinese music. It was unexpected to me... but I'm a rather Wintersun newb though. 🙂

The song is very unique and quite different from what I expected. That's why I didn't know what to say about it initially either. It's new and different so it required a lot of digesting. I do love the song, but still I think it's my least favorite in the album (including Time I and Time II) but that just says a lot how phenomenal the album is.

Hi guys yes I agree jari purposely made sure this was the last song on the album the man knew the lyrics you two put up on screen has a hidden meaning that you two figured out that over time Wintersun fans should stop waiting as time fades away but remember again that jari said it himself time will reward you for the burden and wait the man is genius with words now jari knows we will have wait for the next album but good news i saw jari on his last podcast he does have almost all of the next album complete hopefully we wont have to wait as long cheers Wintersun Alex usa ❄️🍻
Great song, but I find it a little repetitive to be honest, that melody really just goes on and on. I wish for its length Jari included more changes, maybe a guitar solo. I was a little disappointed on how much it went on without changing much. And the sound of the blowing leaves at the end also goes on for far too long its pointless, only needed to be around 20 or 30 seconds not 2 minutes.
The blowing leaves going on long is a petty thing to complain about. Just turn the song off if you don’t want to listen to it all… Goes on longer because the song ends off the album. It’s more of a symbolism thing; a sense of calming and an end. That and if you are listening to Time as a whole, the end of Silver Leaves goes into “When Time Fades Away”. Maybe why it also pro-longed
