Well, they don’t know if he’s armed, mental, has someone in the car unwillingly, etc. I would rather be safe than sorry in a situation like that. His car has tinted windows and his behavior was very strange. I think the cops did the right thing and bring in the bearcat. If not, the whole situation could’ve escalated very quickly.
