  • We made the video Understanding Hypoglycemia 5 Steps that Can Help because people dealing reactive with hypoglycemia symptoms, dizzy spells, or sugar crashes, often don’t understand what causes hypoglycemia.
In order to improve low blood sugar symptoms, or any type of adrenal fatigue symptoms, we need to understand reactive hypoglycemia causes. For some, the only info they can find are on topics like continuous glucose monitors and low blood sugar signs. But if we can understand the variety of possible underlying causes for hypoglycemia and reactive hypoglycemia, we can take steps to improve hypoglycemia symptoms at home.
This video will walk you through explanations of hypoglycemia and diabetes, options for treating hypoglycemia and severe hypoglycemia, and help you understand the relationship between glucose, insulin, minerals in your body and reactive hypoglycemic type responses.

I'm in a terrible sickness that has stemed from my stomach. I can only eat a very few things because I have tons of reactions that range from allergy reactions to severe panic reactions. Seems to be SIBO that was caused by food poisoning. So I battle this and hypoglycemia that I already had my entire life. This is an awful battle. I'm now dealing with chronic constipation from the limited foods I'm able to eat, but not digest like I should. Your videos make so much sense. If I could just figure out where to start in treating myself.

After lower back fusion, I experienced such lack of balance I was running into the walls, just to get to the bathroom. Made it back to bed, grabbed my phone, decided I might be dehydrated, so I drank everything in my room. Barely made it downstairs, hugging the walls. Took a glucose tablet, as per directions. And drank, was not feeling any better, so broke down and called 911. They got there, checked blood sugar,131, at sitting. By the time 4 firemen has walked me to the gurney, it was 87. By the time they wheeled me to the ambulance, 63. After a MRICto rule out stroke, bloodwork had come back, and they put ( pure sugar) in my IV! Determined it was low bloo 17:46 d sugar!! Still having the problem at 4 months out, not as frequently, but if I do any major exertion, I will have an attack of LBS. Or if I wake up and it's any hotter in my room than 71. This is very frustrating to me, as I want to be active!!

You are correct, I had to take a mineral supplement to support my initial D3 mega dose. Now I am back on 1000 IUs & K2 a day or even maybe once a week when I am doing laps in the pool again. But now I am drinking 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar in water with my food, before when I had no vita D3 the acid was too high made me sick had to stop. I was pre-diabetic with arterial sclerosis, D3 & K2 were vital for me the K2 worked within weeks to clean arteries etc, the D3 is a little slower but is working to reverse diabetic symptoms. I just have to keep an eye on how to maintain balance the extra mineral intake is important a good multivitamin & mineral is important the electrolytes and extra magnesium.

I had blood work done and my glucose was as low as 54 hypoglycemia. I went to an endocrinologist she gave me a glucose meter. I have been checking my sugar ever since (5 years) and never had low sugar number. The endocrinologist also did some extensive test and everything came out normal.
I never found out what caused that low blood sugar. And it scares me to think that can happen again.
I was breastfeeding, wasn’t sleeping well and was fasting when I had the blood work done. I don’t know if that was affecting me also

Based on what you are describing, I don't think I have hypoglycemia. My problem is I feel great through out the day until I eat my high protein meal, no carbs I sit down on my sofa to rest after eating and all of a sudden, within 30 minutes to an hour, I black out. I don't even know it has happened until I wake up after half hour or so. Then I am totally wiped out for hours after. The pattern starts again the next day. As long as I don't eat, blood sugar feels great. After I eat a carnivore meal, it seems to tank. Years back, before I ate carnivore, I had the same experience.

Thank you so much for this. I’ve pretty much dealt with my insulin being a bully my whole life.. I actually had it fairly well managed and my doctor increased my beta blocker due to heart palpitations I’ve been having- I’m 59. It’s doing a good job controlling the palpitations but I’ve noticed more reactive hypoglycemic symptoms again. I’ve read this can be a side effect from beta blockers. Any thoughts on what I can do if I need to stay on this medication. I actually lean towards high blood pressure/ constipation etc.
