Fantastic, Thanks for the video. I was initially worried my GYD470 may have been faulty, but after loaning a Futaba radio off a friend, I confirmed the gyro worked fine. However, I can also confirm it does not work with Spektrum DX3R, or my sons RadioLink RC6GS V3. The biggest issue now is I really liked my friends Futaba, but the NB4 is much cheaper, Oh the agony 🤣🤣
@@theAessaya Well, I've gone to the dark side. I now own a Futaba 4PM. Availability ended up being the deciding factor. I’ve got the GYD470, but I can’t seem to get it to work properly with my Flysky GT5.. while the gyro gain channel works.. the steering input does not go through to my INJORA digital servo.. got any thoughts on what might be wrong?
This is common when the gyro does not see a center steering value. It is looking for the 1500pw in order to initialize correctly. That GT5 must not sit at 1500 when the steering is centered. Try to ensure your steering is fully centered and see if it will initialize.
@javischeng9169 The radios communicate in pulse widths. As an example, 1000 is full left, 2000 is full right...and 1500 is supposed to be the middle. Some radios will show you the actual numbers. Yup, I went into the steering sub-trim menu and found that the steering wasn’t centered on my GT5. Now that the steering has been centered, the steering input is getting through! However this is what I am now getting: When I turn the car on the servo would jitter, it’s kind of like a pulsing motion. When I steer, the wheels would turn, but it is slow and jitters as the wheels turn. And after about a minute, the servo would freeze and not respond to any steering input anymore.
