I've been filming my first week's progress on my woodland blanket, following the Attic24 CAL (or Crochet-ALong). So, here is a small vlog of Week One.

This video proves a little theory I had: You can watch a video about something you know nothing about and don't really see yourself trying by a person you really love seeing and have a hoot.
The blanket you showed at the beginning is beautiful and I'm sure that one will be great as well. It was so cozy and relaxing watching this video.
But the true winner of it was your notebook with the yarn samples attached with adhesive tape

Hi Louise! Wow your so organized. I'm impressed. Your blanket will be lovely. I've done many of Lucy's patterns. She is amazing and such a good teacher. Right now I'm working on knitting the Amulet Shawl. A bit tricky for me but I shall preserver. Hope you get some rest

This was so fun! I really enjoy seeing your work. I can’t crochet anymore because of my hand pain so never got to make myself a blanket. This is so awesome to watch this come to life. Looking forward to more! ❤️❤️
I'm glad I'm not the only one who sticks bits of wool in a book with sellotape! I do that for my needlepoint as each variation of the same colour has a different number. Doesn't take a lot to confuse me lol. This is going to be a beautiful blanket. Big hugs to Benedict. X

I love the look of this CAL but I'm not joining in this time. I really want to make her meadow blanket. That one is stunning. I'm currently crocheting a virus shawl using a rico yarn cake called wool degrade in the colour powder. It's a stunning soft purple turning into light pink. So many CALs so little time though am I right x
This is the blanket that got me addicted to Attic24. I'm in the States, so it may take awhile to arrive, but I ordered my Dune pac as soon as the Ta-Dah! showed up.
Oh these colours are gorgeous! By the way you definitely got me into crocheting blankets and I'm currently in the process of making my fist one! :D I'm also using Stylecraft special dk. And I might try myself on this one next or..will it still be up in a few months?

I ordered yarn for this CAL and was going to do it, but I’ve got too much going on. So, I’ll just do it later after everyone has already done it.
