This studio also did a game called Craftopia that has been in early access since 2020 that visually looks similar. It also has crafting and combat…. That might be one reason why this game feels so polished
Nice review! Palworld is really fun! And this is coming from a guy who never enjoyed Pokémon type of games! And this is due to the crafting and gathering! I like the variety of stuff I can do so that I don't get bored! The only reason why I put it on hold for now is because Persona 3 Reload released! But I know that this will be a game that I will go back often in between Story heavy games! Great video and keep up the good work!
I LIKE Pokemon, but at a certain point I found it kind of exhausting ya know? But there's only the ONE Palworld so far and that seems refreshing :) Oh man Persona 3 is SO pretty and I'm playing right now as well on Game Pass!
@YourPlayer2 I'm 53h in right now, Level 47 and on 126th floor in the tower... and I can't stop playing it lol! With the leak of P4 and P2 being remade with the same engine and apparently P1 is being greenlit as well, it's a great time to be an Atlus fan!!
Glad you like it!! Ive already put 25 hours into it and it looks like ive only explored maybe 1/4th of the map. It is literally the most fun i have had in any game in the last 10 years it reminds me of the first time i played minecraft in 5th grade and got addicted. 100% confident this is gonna be game of the year for me. 2nd most concurrent players of any game in history on steam as of today 2 million concurrent players and 7 million sales in 5 days it is insane how much it is popping off. EASY game of the year material if they just iron out a few bugs and get to the official release so it is eligible
LoL glad to see you dig it as well, john! I've barely scratched the surface and can't wait to see what else is waiting for me way off in the distance! Here's hoping they polish it up and it does become eligible because it'd be hilarious to see it take a GOTY in December XD
Hey, not gonna be for everyone! I just get real into overlapping systems like this. Probably also why I got so into Death Stranding but this is much easier :p
I am playing Palworld as we speak. Not on Steam Deck though, I already voiced my performance concerns. It plays great on PC, everything looks surprisingly well put together. I'd never play Pokemon but this game is simply great!
Hey man, have you played Isonzo on the steam deck. Currently on sale and it plays really well. Recommend giving it a try as it's a pretty unique "WW1 FPS multiplayer. Definitely worth a try :)
5 million copies? When did you film this video? They're up to 7 million copies now! I could play it on Gamepass, but I'm gonna wait to see what happens for a few months. As you said, see what Nintendo potentially does, and also, I would really like it if they had a single player campaign feature. I'm not really into "forever" sandbox games.
LoL I see now it just keeps selling like crazy! Forever games aren't my favorite but every now and then it's sort of liberating to just jump into a game without any concern for the endgame ya know?
Man, I'd almost decided not to play this in EA. Now I want to. Have you heard how it performs on Deck when not streaming over game pass? Thanks as always for your vids and upbeat perspective. Have a glorious week.
You're most welcome and thanks for watching! I watched a few other videos and looks like you can get around 30FPS but I don't own the steam copy so I can't test for myself unfortunately.

Oh I didn't realize! I'll have to look that one up as well :)
@@YourPlayer2 its palworld without pokemon, down to sphere to caputre creatures and assembly lines to craft en masse

I just downloaded the game! Will be playing over the weekends.
Oh snap are you gonna stream it?! Been too long since I've swung by and wanna see what horrors you find in this game :D
I've been loving the game too ! Glad it actually came out
Glad you're enjoying it too! Not sure if I'll capture EVERY pal but I'm sure the journey will be fun either way :p
loved the game, bout halfway through and it feels like its just starting really.
Glad you’re enjoying it! Hoping to put in some more time this weekend but that’s definitely encouraging to hear!

I downloaded on Gamepass I I just couldn’t get into it. I need to give it some more time. Palworld looks really fun.

The devs mentioned that cross play is coming, so hopefully you’ll be able to play with your friend on steam soon
Oh good! Definitely hope that comes to fruition quickly so I can play with my buddy and appreciate the heads-up, dude!
Great video I’m gonna check this out
Thanks a bunch and hope you enjoy it!

@@YourPlayer2 I only played a few hours. Haven't even got to the point in which I can craft guns yet. But so far I'm really happy with the game.
@@9r33ks Likewise! No guns yet but I DID use one of them as a flamethrower and that was super fun :p
@@YourPlayer2 I just developed the harness, had no time to craft it. I can't wait!! xD
I changed the name of that Pal to "fire fox" :D
Great video. I haven't played it, but if I do, I'll get on Steam.
Thanks dude! It's pretty easy to get into and hoping I can squeeze some more time in this weekend in between production :)

From what I've seen looks to be around 30FPS to keep it stable but playable! And any time- hope your week's gone well too, man :)
@@YourPlayer2 Wonderful, thank you! Proton DB only ever shows part of the picture. Now we just need Nintendo to hold off on the litigation... ;-)
@@wilmannator LoL no joke :p
how the hell are you getting 50fps most the time I'm below 30fps on low settings.. (never mind I found out you're streaming the Xbox version)

That’s a shame about multi player. Hope they’ll patch that up in the future
Here's hoping! I know at least a few of my friends have already jumped on the Steam version.
