I dislike you still can't sort your Steam wishlist on the Steam Deck (without a mod, that is), & in spite of many other missing Steam footage on the Steam Deck, I still absolutely adore Steam outright. 💯
@@chrishoward8500 I believe it's part of the Decky Loader system of mods, which is relatively easy to install, then you can sort your wishlist just like on Steam.
@@gdot1803 Good point. To be more clear, you can get Decky Loader & then a mod within it to sort your wishlist the same way you could on Steam but on your Steam Deck, including by price, for example, which is super helpful for sales.
That new mic is vast upgrade, very crisp. I've always been super fond of how Steam handles soundtracks I've bought. I absolutely love soundtracks so having super quick access is great, also appreciate that they don't (seemingly) use any kind of DRM for them, too, so I'm not limited on where/how I listen to them. Though I have been wanting them to offer WAV's or FLAC's alongside the MP3's they use currently. GOG does it and it's super nice.
Thanks a bunch dude! I don't listen to a lot of soundtracks on Steam but I'll give it a whirl to see since I think I do have one or two floating around. Cool that there's no DRM to mess with.
Next Fest has made me realise I wish there were timers on demos so we know which ones will stay up after Next Fest finishes and which ones won’t. Or when a dev wants to take a demo down, maybe have it where it stays up for a few more days with a timer so that we know what is leaving soon and can prioritise those demos. I have over 120 demos from my wishlisted games alone. And it would allow me to play more of them with such a simple feature, as I could plan better.
Oh, that'd be a nice feature for sure! I hadn't grabbed any demos through it just yet so that's a little lost on me but it makes sense. I feel ya on planning though- too many games to play and sometimes it's a chore just prioritizing which game I wanna wrap up!
Steam is really easy to customize and navigate, although I'm not super used to the Big Screen Mode. I just haven't used it that much, and I'll always stay with the normal mode just by habit. I used to spend some time back in the earlier days to customize everything to my liking and then realized that it was a waste of time as it's rare that I socialize on that platform so nobody looks at my profile anyway lol! I'll spend that time gaming instead! Great video and keep up the good work!
I think Big Screen Mode looks pretty slick, I just rarely use it when I'm on desktop ya know? Bwahaha I like to pretty mine up from time to time but yeah, I see what you mean. Appreciate it dude! :D
Also - loving the sound quality of the new mic. Just a suggestion though, how about placing it on the other side so it doesn’t block the video monitor in the backdrop. I noticed some your videos usually showcase games you present on that monitor which I always thought was a nice touch
Glad to hear you like the new sound, AF! I'm a little limited on mic placement at the moment, but I'll see if I can find a better solution in the future! And definitely glad that those little details don't go unnoticed :D
One feature that I am still holding out for is the option to skip age verification. I recall a few years back there was an option to skip, but no longer seems to work. Thanks for sharing your tips on other key features of the UI.
Oh yeah, that would be nice. I hadn't really considered how much time I spend on that screen- might be worth a video in its own right :p Thanks as always for the kindness and hanging out dude :)
Wow I'm really shocked they gave you a refund for MGS despite being over the playtime. I've had a few situations that I tried something similar and it has never worked for me.
Dude right? I was pretty surprised since I figured they'd be super strict about it. But I guess since a collection of games naturally would take more time to explore than a single title maybe that's why they were a bit more lenient? Either way I'm not complaining!
Hey Josh, speaking of Emulators, yesterday I Downloaded Xbox 360 Emulator with 3 Games: Forza Horizon, Forza Horizon 2 and Red Dead Redemption but every time I try to play F.H.2 I have a lot of Lag and the Emulator crashes, this is why I hate Emulators. :( Luckily I have those Games for Xbox 360 and One, it's just a matter of plugging both consoles but right now I'm too busy playing/recording PS2/PS3/PS4 Games. Off topic: Today I watched a video on RUclips about a possible Red Dead Redemption Remastered PC version but it was just a rumor (hopefully it's true).
Oh very cool! Sorry to hear about the lag though- kinda rough for a Forza game :p At least you have the originals to fallback on! I sure wouldn't mine myself, though I still need to finish Red Dead 2!

@@gdot1803 yes, with a mod to match what Steam can do (which is relatively simple to add).
How do I get this mod? It’s so frustrating that you can only sort it in desktop mode and not in gaming mode.

I didn't even notice that! But glad it's not enough of a fault to keep you away from the platform entirely :p
My favourite Steam feature: transfer games from one HDD to another, so you don't have to re-download them.
GAH I mean to mention that and totally forgot! Which is weird because I literally just had....Left 4 Dead 2 do that I think?
