Love my steam deck! Ive played Starfield and Sea of Stars on mine via game pass. Being limited to cloud gaming is really the only con. I also have a ROG allly, and enjoy being able to download game pass games locally thanks to windows.
gamepass is def worth it on steam deck, you just buy it for a month and then for a whole month you can any game you like, gamepass has a ton of games that are at the very least playable, + all games have controller support, when in steam it is not the case sometimes, the only downside is that there is no saves from games and it is all on your device while you are paying for it, and gamepass is not that cheap gamepass is worth on steam deck, but mostly when you have a vacation of some sort for one month, you bought it and gaming for a whole month when you are free on your steam deck with all games supporting the controller fully, + somewhat a free online gaming like halo, pretty good but i dont think that paying for gamepass for a long time is worth it bc once you stop buying gamepass, it all goes away like a lucid dream, and i dont think if you buy gamepass on the same account again, it would back up all saves you have made, and one more bad thing is that gamepass isnt everywhere, like in my country it is not supported, there is no servers and that is sad, bc gamepass sometimes just comes with stuff like controller and giftcard and oh, the gamepass card is in here aswell, cool, i cant use it tho, so it just stores somewhere untill better times lol
Some EA games like Fallen Order work. It's just that you need to be online for them because of the EA App. I'm pretty sure anyway. Because I played Fallen Order on mine just fine on Wifi.
@@wantedfish8u I know that it’s Linux braindead stupid idiot and if you think Linux is better than Windows you re clearly have lost braincells lmao 🤣 how’s GTA Online ? Black Ops 6 ? And every other games with anticheat ? Oh there’s game that don’t work at all too lmao proton bullshit fuck no , never switching my steamdeck back to steamos , Linux sucks ass
It's after the season. I believe it's the week after the Super Bowl EA drops Madden on EA Play (which is how you get it on GamePass). EA FC and F1 show up on GamePass within a week or 2 of the season ending. 2K works similarly as well. Right before the playoffs 2K hits GamePass but it's only there until around the draft or free agency. Edit: A way to get around this is if you own an Xbox you can stream it through the Steam Deck and play CFB25 and Madden 25 or whatever the newest versions when they drop. It's the only reason I haven't sold my Series X.
I don't like game pass. I don't like streaming or paying for a monthly service that might remove games I'm actively playing. I'd rather buy a few games that I'm actively playing than buy a subscription and pay for 2-3 months when I'm only playing one or two games. I also very often don't have an Internet connection and I don't know if game pass requires that. I also already own a lot of the games I want to play on steam already.
I’m fine with it cause I beat a game fairly quick and move on. They also don’t remove games often, games will be on there for months or years sometimes. I also only play at home with internet
Just recently bought the oled steam deck and the ability to remote play and Xbox cloud is massive. Means I have the best of both worlds.
"I'm now a PC gamer!" Welcome to the club, good sir. Glad to have you here!
@@TerenceCole I appreciate it!

Your voice sounds like around the clock from that Nintendo channel 🤔 dope collection of games though!

Saints Row Rules!
do you have to strictly play them through the cloud?
Yes. The download feature is only for Xbox consoles. I guess that’s the only real con 😬
If you install Windows, then you can play native game pass. Otherwise on SteamOS, it's Cloud Streaming
Another reason why steamos sucks
@@hayman75 its not steam os… its linux dummy also linux>windows argue with a wall

Well don’t sign up to it then 🤷🏻♂️

Why?? It's not like you're forced to use it. It's an alternative way to play games.
You want to buy games and Game Pass doesn't forbid that.
Stupid opinion
