This game has absolutely nothing similar to Arkham Asylum. There were many games before this DD that already used basically all of this mechanics, even Batman Vengeance

I remember when this game was announced. The hype that was centered around it post Spiderman movie and game release was insane. I truly think in another universe, the daredevil directors cut ends up being the theatre cut and people really love and embrace Ben Affleck as Daredevil and we got more movies and games out of it. I remember seeing the posters and signs for this game in an EB games one summer and waiting for what felt like a decade and a year or so later I found it got cancelled and it ruined my whole summer like that’s all I was looking forward to. Shame we didn’t get it but I’m glad you got to play it.
Just some ideas for a daredevil game on ps5: - daredevils jump is similar to the charge jump in spiderman but dumbed down. - acrobatics and aerial stunts are similar to catwomans* in the arkham games -combat mechanics are similar to sifu" but with more agility. -upgrade options for his grappling hook like tightrope, frag grenades, etc. - World around him is a cold nourish style of the underworld of new york city. - able to check in at nelson and murddocks to investigate side crimes and cases linked to the underworld around him that coside with the story mode.

It's got everything that makes a game good, a plot, gameplay gimmicks and cool tracks, all it needs is to refine it's combat system a bit more and it'll be on par with Spider-Man, heck this could easily be a great hit in 2003, goes to show you that it doesn't need to be based on the movie to make it successful.

I usually turn my nose up whenever people talk about Daredevil as a videogame or video game character because I never really saw the potential. but this game, as janky as it was has changed my views entirely. They need to use this as a blueprint to create a current gen Daredevil game frfr.
I believe that the move tie-in Blade game had some open elements and it wasn't very good. Problem is that Sony has always favored "the it" genre's over conventional or tried and true formats. The proof is in the pudding that there are a ton of Souls like games on PlayStation. This game would do fine as cell shaded 2D side scroller beat'em up.
Am I the only one that misses when they use to actually make female characters sexy ? Now they all covered up … & when they not “covered up” it ain’t sexy …
Just imagine if they had actually come out with this game! Daredevil has never looked like this in a video game. He can ricochet his Billy clubs, he can swing! And that rail action would have done it before Infamous did! They really screwed themselves by not coming out with this but hopefully somebody can work off of this engine! I know I would buy this game even still.
