The only thing I can credit Haim Saban with is keeping the original team together so they made a movie and stayed on for Zeo. Apparently he underpaid them and Saban's filming crew harassed David Yost (Billy) for being gay to the point of being suicidal.
What about Bulk and Skull??? I know they did an appearance in another power rangers series but i don't know what happened after... Note: Yes I'm a girl, I'm 19 years old 21st century generation) and have seen all 21 generations of the power rangers. HUGE FAN!!! Love them!!! Some people find that weird.
That was a great show and tremondous group of heros. Those actors would have had several seasons rather than just actors changes. They should have added a Purple Ranger and a Orange Ranger as well.

Actual representation issues for me as a kid.... I was a little black girl who could only identify with Trainee because WE ALL KNEW THE BLACK RANGER SUCKED!!! but for real I remember this being a question I had as a kid.

It's actually recycled Japanese footage so you can blame them for that. All Power Rangers did was replace the actors who played the people in the costumes.
