I love watching your videos and one day I will book a hair appointment with you! Your are gifted and knowledgeable about hair . I have curly hair that loose 2c -3a and I am getting my first keratin down and Im excited
Ugh my heart! Thank you so much! Your comment honestly made my day. I’m so happy you’re finding the content helpful. I can’t wait to have you in my chair and give your curls some TLC 💕
Have you noticed a negative effect of the keratin treatment on low porosity hair? I read someone say it’s not good for low porosity hair because low porosity already has enough protein contrary to high porosity hair. Love your videos! Especially the keratin ones! Not enough Information about this Out there so thank you
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you find the videos helpful! ❤️ And no, I haven’t noticed any negative effects on low porosity hair with keratin treatments. The treatment actually helps low porosity hair by absorb and retain moisture.
Yeah I did some research and I don’t think it’s available in South Africa either. Sorry! Maybe you can get a hairstylist to get it and start doing them
Does the keratin need heat from the blow dryer and iron to “seal” or glue to the hair shaft? I’m wondering about how effective the treatment would be if no heat is used?
Hi hi! I just read up on hair Botox and it’s basically a high grade deep conditioner. You have to use it every wash day to keep your results. A keratin treatment lasts 3 months and seals in the nutrients to your hair. If you want something low maintenance and long term, I recommend a keratin treatment.
Can you use it if you don’t have fine hair or if you have thick hair? I’m looking for something that is natural as possible to define and elongate my length.
Depends on the hair texture honestly. I do three passes but each keratin treatment is different, so you will have to follow the manufacturers instructions @@81redddd
@@timelesslymirna thanks for responding, I tried one of these before and I didn’t work. I followed all the steps but the only thing I did differently was, after I did the treatment I didn’t straighten it right away. I put it in four braids and went to sleep and straightened it the next day.
I’m happy the video helped you! Yes, you can absolutely wear a wash n’ go after receiving the treatment. Once you wet your hair your curls will bounce back, but with less frizz and better definition.
To make sure you get your best curls for a wash and go your hair has to be thoroughly moisturized. Dry curls are frizzy and lack definition. I would make sure your hair is hydrated by deep conditioning weekly. Also fine hair can be harder to style curly because it can look thin. If you want fullness I would forgo definition and pick your hair out for more volume.
The transformation is phenomenal!!
Thank you so much ☺️❤️

Do you remember which of your products you used on her hair? Looks beautiful.
Thank you! I only used the Cezanne keratin treatment on her hair

I’d really like to try it but seems like it isn’t available in South Africa.

The heat is needed, this is how the treatment lasted 3+ months.
How often should you do the treatments?
About every 3 months but you can stretch it depending on your goals/ hair
Does the curls come back after washing hair ?
Yes the curls come back after washing, but stronger, smoother, and less frizz
Thanks love
Hey! Have you ever heard of a hair botox?? I’m in between getting a keratin treatment or hair botox.

@@timelesslymirnathanks for the informative response! ❤
Where are you located? I would love to get this treatment for my birthday 😊
I’m in Brooklyn,NY! Come through 💕
@@timelesslymirna I’m in VA!!! That’s a bus/train ride away!
Say less!! Come through! My chair is ready when you are 💕💕💕💕
I’m curious to know can you condition before you clarify shampoo and did you blow dry after you shampooed?
Each treatment is different, I didn’t need to condition the hair beforehand.
Do u recommend a keratin product that will loosen curls, I have 4a hair
I recommend looking into texturizers they are formulated to loosen curls as keratin isn’t
My hair frizzes up even before I finish flat ironing half my hair. Would this still work?
Yes it helps fight against humid and leaves your hair smooth and silky. I recommend!
Can you use it if you don’t have fine hair or if you have thick hair?
I’m looking for something that is natural as possible to define and elongate my length.
Yes this is for all hair types. But it won’t loosen your curls. It’s a smoothing treatment for frizzy unmanageable hair to make styling easier.
Do you have to blow out and flat iron after putting the treatment in? Do you have to seal with heat?
Yes, heat seals in the treatment. But it’s not anymore heat than your average silk press 😊
@@timelesslymirna thanks

Thanks for this! I have fine, natural hair and only wear wash and go. Am I able to use this and maintain my wash and go?

@@nicolej615 The treatment is Cezanne smoothing keratin treatment
I have a similar hair type like her and a wash & go dnt look curly the curls are very fine any advice ?

Yep.
Thank you!
Also how do she keep her curls at night ?
I recommend flexi rods because they’re easy to use and sleep in. And it prevents the hair from reverting back because it stretches the hair.
