I know this video is two years old, but this is probably one of the most informative videos. I’ve seen on RUclips besides my very own videos. This has helped me when it comes to formulating my own products because I thought about using keratin.
thank you. Im Definitely going to check your videos out.
Thank u for showing both looks curly and straight style so we can see the results. Most people don’t show that, so thank u very much for that.
No problem. Thank you for watching!
For real! I've been looking forever for this.
Same. I always see people showing the straight results but never the reverted ones
I recently got a keratin treatment. It’s a game changer. My hair was very difficult to maintain and would shed a lot. With the treatment there’s very little to no shedding. Wash day takes half the time. My hair morning routine takes just a few minutes. My hair is healthier and stronger. I’m sticking with this system.
Yes I'm glad you love it. I always tell people either you love it and will always get it or you're like one and done.
How much is the salon cost ?
@Amy Allen yea I was wondering too because I wanna get this done myself
@Launren's Vibe what system did they use? Same as in the video?
Did you get to keep your curls? Or did it straighten it? X
Thank you so much for showing what her hair looks likes after!! This is exactly the kind of video I've been looking for 🙌🏾
Thank you. I figured it would be useful because I was looking for one too

Yes thank you this was so so so so helpful
I agree. She hit the nail on the head. Great video, so informative. Thank you so much!!
Sounds like keratin treatment is a way to get the cake and eat it too
I’m considering having this done only my hair, thanks for the video! It helped a lot!! Your sisters hair is beautiful!! It literally looks like chocolate!! ❤️❤️
I love this ladies hair. Takes the frizz yet keeps the curls thanks so much for this video
This is EXCELLENT! I've been searching for an indepth keratin video and you delivered. 🔥
Thank you Ms Jolly I’m glad I could help
Thank you so much for this video! I was contemplating a keratin treatment! I appreciate the very detailed information! Awesome video!
This was a great video! Thanks for explaining everything. Exactly what I was looking for!
You did not talk my ear off. That was information that I needed, thank you! I appreciate your showing of the process, and thanks to your sister for being our model to see he follow up after the treatment. Blessings!
Thank you. I’m glad I could help
Thank you so much. I am definitely going to do this. I recently silk pressed my hair for the first time in over a year and he loved it. But I still love my natural hair for diversity. So this is the perfect balance. I'm going to do it, thank you!!!!
No problem I’m glad I could help
I really enjoyed this video. VERY informative. I shaved my head almost a year ago after having a relaxer for decades. Now I'm trying to understand the different textures of my TWA and how to give more attention to the dry frayed sections at the crown. So it's definitely a journey and now I understand more about the Keratin treatment. Thanks again! 💖
Sometimes with scalp issues a dermatologist can help. You mentioned flakes in the crown.
The women in your family have beautiful skin and hair. You did a great job! ❤️👍🏾
Thank you. I want to take credit and say that it’s because I take care of their hair but maybe genetics plays a 👌🏾 part 😆
This was incredibly helpful and informative. Thank you!
This is super helpful! I'm getting a treatment this weekend and excited to see the results!
This video was exactly what I needed. The shampoo after is what I needed to see. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking your time to do this very in-depth video!!!Every question I had was answered and more. ❤
No problem 😊 thanks for watching!
I've used this treatment for over 5 years. I'm ecstatic about finding your video. I love my hair. I was able to maintain it during the height of the pandemic. Happily my hair grew. I've never had over the shoulder length in my life! And it's HEALTHY!
Yay I’m glad it works for you. Thank you so much for commenting and watching my video. ❤️
Does your hair grow out better or the same?

Yes!! Thank you! No one is doing this after video with what natural hair looks like post treatment in a wash-n-go. Very informative! Thank you!
This video was awesome! So helpful and informative. This gave me the information I needed to make a decision about what I want to do for my hair. I've definitely been tempted to relax again, so I'm exvited to try the keratin first!
Omg thank you!! Like you said, I was on the BRINK of texlaxing my hair, but I'm definitely getting a keratin treatment instead!!
I always encourage those who want to get a relaxer to try it first
girl all my hair broke off with that keratin mess

Thank You for sharing!🙏🏽 This was an excellent video. Love the care you took. 🙌🏽 I’m reconsidering the treatment.👍
Thank you. I I appreciate you watching!
I NEVER comment of YT but I MUST give you your 💐 now. This was a blessing for too many reasons to list. You have a gift. Please open a school and teach US how to care for our hair and how to make thoroughly informed decision about “YOUR HAIR” (I LOVE the way you said that in the video.) 😊
This comment was a blessing to my life. Thank you!
Thank for explaining this process. This was very helpful. Hair turned out beautiful
Thank you
You’re a real one! Thanks to you and your sister for demonstrating this. It’s so nice to see what the curls look like styled after the treatment because although there are a few videos on RUclips showing the keratin treatment on natural hair they only show the hair straightened after. I had to take a leap of faith when I did this myself and was researching because early last year my hair was at the awkward length and I was struggling to style it and very nearly relaxed/texlaxed it but didn’t want to destroy my curls or the commitment of relaxers. Well after trawling the net I came across keratin treatment. I’ve since done it twice and it’s been a game changer. My hair has been easier to manage. I have noticed my roots are a little thicker though and I’m looking into Botox for hair. It’s similar to the keratin but supposedly absolutely no formaldehyde, more natural.
Almost Everyone who has tried it loves it. Make life so much easier. Girl you put me on to something Botox for hair? I have some research to do.
@@sevenzenhair67 Yes! I’m into hair treatments at the moment. I’m about to buy Olaplex 0, 4 and 5 then after I get over the hit my wallet is about to take 😫 and get my hair strengthened I’ll probably do the Botox treatment.
@@britjj5126 girl I know. I’m a product junkie lol I buy and try everything. Please come back and let me know how the Botox treatments work for you. Find me on IG

Thank you so much for showing this! I really want to try bc I have also been on the brink of relaxer because my hair is unmanageable and I’m sick of protective styles!
This odd the perfect time to try. Before you relax so you know you’ve tried everything

Just had my daughters done hopefully it’ll stay smooth. Her hair is very long when straight and soooo much work, so I’m putting off the washing as long as possible. Your sisters hair is beautiful.
Lol I know all about it with 3 girls
Stumbling across your video has been life changing. I’m going to get a treatment based on your video. I sweat so badly from my scalp I hate it, but this will help. Thank you. New subscriber ❤️

Oh my gosh this was so helpful I’ve had such a hard time finding videos of how your hair looks being curly again this is exactly how I hope for my hair to turn out when I do it soon
Yay, I’m glad I could help
did you decide to go ahead with the keratin treatment? how did it go (if you did)?
@@ManUntdForever yes, I did it back in April and loved it!!! My hair was much less frizzy, super easy to detangle, my curl pattern was yes a bit looser but still so pretty and it was easier to style, the list goes on. It was only supposed to last 4 weeks but honestly I only started to notice a difference last month so I’m getting it done again next week.
@@arenee8027 did you notice any hair growth or have you maintained the same length
Just ordered mine after watching your video, using your discount code👍🌸I hope it’s what I’m looking for, as I only want my curls to be detangled easily and not super straight hair. Wish me luck

This is my second video of your that I've watched. New subscriber here. Very informative. Hope to find a technician as good as you soon.
Thanks for sharing, her curls with the treatment still look very beautiful and juicy! This is exactly what I need, less frizz and manageable curls. I hope I can get something like this where I live.
If you do and get it done come back and let me know
This video is the best. So informative and I could listen to her voice forever lol
I've been considering getting a relaxer again. I can't deal with the ssn and the time it takes to detangle. I recently learned about kertain treatments and have been looking into them. Nice job. Glad this pop up on my feed. I also want my pattern to loosen up permanently. I wouldn't mind at all. LOL
Lol. I say try this before the relaxer. It may just be enough
@@sevenzenhair67 I wish you were in NY. I came across your channel b4 and said you seem nice. All the stylist that seem to know what they are doing and care about the health of your hair is everywhere else. 😂

EXCELLENT video. Thank you so much!
Thank you for all this information, tanks for sharing. Her curls look great!
Thank you
I never knew what keratin was.. very informational. Thank you. Gorgeous hair
Thank you
Great video! I've been thinking about doing keratin treatments but I had no idea I could do a wash n go.
Thank you for showing what natural hair looks like after the keratin. No one does this and this why I want one- to losen the curls
I didn't even skip through this video...Excellent content.. I've been considering this some time now, I think u just helped me make up my mind.. thank you 😊
Thanks for watching
This was the best video about the Keratin treatment on type 4 hair. I too was wondering about how the hair behaves when you want to wear it as a wash n go. It’s beautiful and I am happy to see that you still have the versatility to still wear your hair curly as I do enjoy still having my curls. Just want more manageability. Thank you!
Completely agree! I have a mix of 3C/4A hair, which is manageable but because of how easily it tangled, I really never wear it down. Because Keratin treatments wear off, this seems like it would be a great way to get looser curls without permanently changing my hair
So, what kind of Keratine is best if i just want to define my curls NOT loose it??
My God! Her hair is gorgeous! You did a great job!!!
Thank you
Wow, I've been looking into tex-lax videos because I only want more manageability and not straightness, I never knew this was an option. I'm so glad I saw your video. I heard of keratin but thought it was something like a deep conditioning treatment, my bad, thank you for the knowledge sharing.
Also try botox. Same result. Chemical free
@@ceciliadundee9122 How to get Botox for your hair?
It really turned out nice. You look slot alike. Thanks for the great knowledge. Keratin treatment is something my daughter could benefit from.
Yes, when she was little I acted as if she was my child cause she looks like me.Thank you for watching!
I've been using the keratin treatment myself for some years and was considering getting the Brazilian blowout. I didn't know the difference between the two. I'm sticking with the keratin treatment because I don't want formaldehyde in my hair, and I like being able to manage my curls. Great video, thank you!
That's why I liked keratin blowout. My hair doesn't get stick-straight from relaxers anyway but it recovered my curls a lot better after the Brazilian Blowout. My hair felt healthy and the looser curls didn't bother me. Mine went from spiral curls to my post-beach curl pattern (3b to a 3a/2c) and bounced back as the treatment wore off. And I had my hair bleached and dyed the same day so even with the extra processing beforehand it didn't kill my curls.
Curious you liked keratin over Brazilian blowout ?
Amazing video i just asked my salon lady for this thinking i made a big mistake. I literally cannot wait to get it done!! Time for a change 💃🏾
Nice!! Come back and let me know your thoughts
@@sevenzenhair67 so i got it done in October and I absolutely loved the process and the outcome she did an amazing job but one thing i forgot from my relaxer days (been 3 years natural barely any heat and 4a/b hair i did this process because im postpartum and i dont have the time or energy to do my hair) is that my hair needs ‘topping up’, the treatment lasted me maybe two months and im not sure if its because my hair grows pretty fast or it was because i had a scalp reaction and started flaking again (another relaxer memory) so i used the as i am tea tree line which is the only thing that works for me, then went back to the GK shampoo and conditioner which is meant to be sulphate free and compliment keratin treated hair and my hair started to revert immediately.
I now have straight hair with afro roots and im on my weight loss shxt so sweating through everyday which means more heat than ever. So overall i absolutely loved when i had fresh hair but its definitely something i have to keep on top of and hopefully after a few sessions my hair will be a lot easier to manage.
I’m glad I found out about this! I just got my second keratin treatment yesterday. This is so much better than relaxer. My hair hasn’t broken off and I’m still retaining length.
Yay, I’m glad it’s working for you
She has beautiful hair.. thank you for this well detailed video
Thank you for watching
Looks so good!!
Appreciate this, I’ve decided to get a keratin treatment, since I go go straight or curly. Thanks ☺️
I've done the Keratin Treatment once before and I absolutely loved it. For reference the front of my hair is 3A, Middle 3B and back 3C. When I did it I was able to even out my hair texture and reduce a lot of frizz as I am always on the go. y hair was shiny, silky and I was able to retain more length because I wasn't constantly styling hair every day. I found my hair got a lot longer. However, I am a lifeguard and I work primarily with water. I have yet to do it again because I spend about 30 hours a week in chlorinated water and it just isn't practical for my lifestyle at the moment. I did notice that the Keratin helped my hair avoid chlorine damage initially but I do not have 3 consecutive days off to do the treatment again. I move cities and hopefully within a few months I'll be able to do it again.
Thank you for this comment. I want others to see/read your experience. Btw it’s awesome you’re a lifeguard. My youngest is a mermaid she admires lifeguard I think she’ll try it out!! Thanks for watching!
@@sevenzenhair67 I loved your video. Update I didn’t wait a month. I moved cities and took it as an opportunity to do it once again. Yesterday was my birthday and I used the ion keratin treatment. My hair look lovely for my birthday and it was the most soft and bouncy I had ever seen it. I’m excited to see how it wears as I no longer work in the water. Hopefully your youngest stays a mermaid because it’s an excellent life skin and a fun opportunity.
Life skill!

Thank you
Thank you for sharing. Very helpful!
Thank you Ms Violet
Thank You. Great explanation, Good job!
Thank you 😊
This was a VERY informative video! Thanks for sharing. It seems that with the treatment and a wash and go, you’d have pretty much a day 1 WnG look for the duration of that style. Without the frizzy factor, will the hair keep the flat look and not get bigger and have more volume over several days of the wearing the WnG style? Also after a year later from treatment will the keratin completely be removed from the hair or would you need to cut the hair the completely remove the keratin?
From my understanding your hair will eventually revert back to its original stage all the way.
The keratin treatment last up to six months. Your hair reverts back. My sister gets it done every six months.
Just got mine done today!!! My first time, I’m so excited!!!
Nice! Let me know your thoughts after your first shampoo

How does this differ from the Avon Texture release?
Great video and beautiful model!
Beautiful hair beautiful work
Thank you. Helpful. Continue. Blessings.
Thank you SO much for this detailed video! Your sisters natural texture looks nearly the same as mine and I LOVE that she still has wash-and-go curls after the keratin treatment. I live in Houston... super humid and I can never get a style to stay in place. Are there different ways of application to make sure curls are more likely to return? Such as leaving the product on for less time or something else?
My ideal style would be the smooth wash and go curls. I don’t often wear my hair straight.
I would love this for my daughter who has hair just like your sister. This picture s a game changer. I seal my hair with aphogee protein treatment and sit under dryer, rinse shampoo and deep condition. This treatment is better for my daughter it ensures her texture is more manageable for her wash and go. Ty for that s video!
Wow !! Shes so beautiful lovely curling hair 😍
I love how you do sections on hair gave me goosebumps and very relaxing 😌 .
Wish you could do mine hair 😩 lol 😆 .
Thank you for sharing ❤️😊
Thank you …. You have convinced me that a keratin treatment is going to be best for my 12yo daughter instead of a relaxer. I’ve never really heard of a keratin treatment as I’m old school and the last treatment I’ve ever had on my own hair was over 25yrs ago and it was a relaxer (which I didn’t really want my daughter to have incase of scalp burn). So again thank you for your video it was very informative and I will be choosing the keratin treatment for sure! 👍🏽🤩
Why are you doing this to a child's hair?
@@girlsuckmydick What kind of question is that? Manageability and softer texture means less tangles, tears 😢 and styles that hold up to humidity. I’m doing this to my daughter asap who has curly shrinkage that’s 4a. The look of curly wash and go is what she wants.
I love her curls, shiny and bouncy and beautiful.
Thank you, helped me to make the decision to try the treatment.
I am glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
I did this keratin treament on my hair that is curly tipe 4 and 3, before know what is it, i found a brilliant stylist, but she didn't explained me all like you did with this video, thank you a lot ❤
Thank you so much for creating this video. I love my curls, but I have fine, high porosity, high density hair. It is so thick, and I spend so much time defanging because I can only use my fingers. Any type of denman brush or tangle teaser breaks my hair more than it helps, no matter how slow I go (and I detangle from ends to roots). I always have frizz, whether I use more high end products or drug store ones. My scalp is sensitive, so layering products always has me needing a wash two days later.
I have been considering getting a keratin treatment, rather than going back to relaxers, because I actually do love my curls, I just wish they were more manageable. This makes me want to take the leap…
Sounds like you should try it! :)
gorgeous result. those are dream curls.
Thank you
Love the wash and go look
I love it.. that’s mainly what i want is just looser curls and if I want straight hair its not going to sweat a lot back to poof stage.. great video
I always say try it. It wears off in a few months if you find you don’t like it
Awesome video!
I use the OWOW natural keratin smoothing treatment, because I like to wear my natural hair in a silk press and I don't understand why other black stylists don't use Keratin smoothing treatment to protect the hair when applying heat
Hi , thank you for this video. Very informative. I’ve been on my natural hair journey for about 5-6 years. I have only been wearing protective styles to accomplish my desired length. I believe it is where I would like it to be now. I want to try a silk press first, however, i don’t think my hair would remain straight for long, given that I sweat a lot at night due to menopause, and I am working out regularly now. Keratin treatment sounds like a great alternative.
You just saved me i don't think I'll do relaxer now. Cause i was definitely on the fense about that.
Yes I always advise to try keratin first
I am on my 3rd keratin treatment. When I tell you my hair is in the best shape it’s ever been?! Will ALWAYS get a keratin treatment.
Yes a lot of people fall in love with it
how often are you getting them? did you find your curl pattern changed at all?
@@n.k.4481 No, it did not change my curl pattern.
