Keratin does different things to different people hair types, I’d recommend if using a keratin treatment, first know your hair because I def did not do the full 9-12 passes my keratin told me to do, I only did 4 and i still kept my curls. It didn’t do too much straightening. It def did smooth my hair and defrizz my curls. My hair is so easy to detangle and shampoo slips right through and easy.

I'm a stylist and have tried a few keratin treatments and all I can say is the power is in the name this really is the Best one out there, it's gentle and lasts 5 months I even had a couple of clients that stretched it out to 9 months.😊
My hair never reverted after my first keratin treatment. I had to do a big chop to get my curls back

Yessss it truly isn’t hard to do yourself! Just a bit time consuming but after the treatment your washdays only take a hour to 2 hours depending on how long you deep condition.

2 strand twist for the rest of the year you will be full waist length. If you dont like the look of twist you can hide them under a wig.
Oh you already know after a few months I’ll be right under a wig or in braids lol me & protective styling go together real bad! lol

Some of my clients have experienced burning and irritation during treatments, requiring me to wash the product out immediately. Interestingly, this reaction seems inconsistent, as not all clients experience the same discomfort. I’m not sure why it affects some clients and not others, but it could be due to factors like individual scalp sensitivity or pre-existing skin conditions.
Product Characteristics and Results
Unlike many keratin treatments, this product has several unique qualities. It lacks the strong, pungent smell that’s typical of other treatments and doesn’t cause eye irritation, making it more comfortable to apply. The product delivers softer, slightly looser curls, which is a result I love. This effect is especially beneficial for clients looking to relax their curls without completely straightening them.
Effect on Different Hair Types
Wavy Hair: If someone with wavy hair uses this product, use twice a year idf you want to maintain curlsr. it not semi-permanent or even irreversible in some cases, so it’s essential to be cautious on wavy textures.
Very Textured Hair: For highly textured hair types, especially those with tighter curls, putting the hair under a dryer while using the product enhances its effectiveness. put the under the dryer encourages a more dramatic relaxation of the curl pattern.
Hair Lightening with Heat
Be mindful that applying heat under dry while using this product can lighten the hair by up to 1.5 to 2 levels. This could be a concern for clients who want to maintain their current hair color, so it's important to manage expectations about this side effect.
Addressing Irritation and Sensitivity
If a client reports irritation, it's important to immediately rinse the product out to prevent further discomfort. While the irritation isn't severe enough to cause chemical burns, it can feel similar to the stinging sensation from rubbing alcohol on sensitive skin. To ensure the client’s comfort, always have a backup treatment available in case of an adverse reaction.
Alternative Options and Special Considerations
For clients who prefer traditional keratin treatments, there’s an alternative that, while possessing a strong smell, works effectively for smoothing hair. However, it's critical to avoid using keratin treatments on Type 4c hair, as it can cause significant breakage, similar to what happens when growing out a relaxer. Instead, milder treatments or deep conditioning may be better suited for maintaining the health of 4c curls.

Yes, my hair would definitely be fuller overall with the texture still there. But I feel like my hair was thick & full with the cliove system too. Thicker than what I was used to but we’ll see in the long run

Yes. My daughter has been getting Keratin since she was about 11 yrs old. Even her stylist said she actually needed it because she has such thick hair
Does this work on completely natural ladies! Your hair looks very thin and heat damaged on the ends like your transitioning still. My hair is natural and healthy just looking for something to hold my flat iron styles longer in the summer but still keep my natural coils.
Yes it will work, it’s a smoothing treatment so it’s what you’re looking for. My ends are from a previous straightening keratin treatment that I am growing out.
Is there something more affordable then Cliove that would make my hair straight over time
There’s other keratin treatments that will give you a straightening result but I can’t speak on them because I’ve never used other brands. Other than these 2.

I’ll look into it. I’ll research the ingredients and see if it’s something that will be healthy for my hair type first

No it doesn’t! It’s just a stronger formula

Yes I wrap my hair every night, it keeps it straight and doesn’t create any indents

Nope, this one doesn’t straighten your curl pattern. Only smoothens the hair shaft so it’s less frizzy and won’t revert with humidity but once you shampoo your hair, your pattern is back

I’m new to your channel. It looks like there’s heat (or some other kind) damage on your ends because they are significantly thinner than the rest of your hair. Is that from this process or other factors? No shade at all just honestly curious. It came out beautiful tho 😊
You do know some people can have thin ends that aren’t split or damaged. Some parts of the head grow faster than others like the nape
My ends are straighter from a previous keratin treatment used. That one was more of a straightening treatment, this one is a smoothing treatment. I also did suffer hair loss due to vitamin deficiency so some areas do need to grow back to get back to my fullness. I love my hair, I don’t love having to set aside an entire day to do my hair. I got stuff to do and I want my hair done in 2 hours max, that’s why I chose what I choose for my hair & lifestyle. If I hated my hair I would never wear it out at all.
