- The village of Pettigoe is divided by the Irish border, with one side in Northern Ireland and the other in the Irish Republic. Since the end of The Troubles both sides have re-integrated, but there are concerns that Brexit could cause new division, since there’s still no agreement on how the UK and Ireland will manage if they have different trade policies either side of the border.
"the only thing I saw was all them beautiful a series mini engines" ! Love to have a rummage around that workshop 🕵️♂️ pure class
Your English is disgraceful cannot understand what you are saying
Ireland's border is the sea.
The Sea? Don't be silly. Any EU resident is free to live and work in Ireland. You don't control your own borders - the EU does. Ireland threw away it's independence in 1975.
Indeed so really too!!
@@donnachamcgowan Sold-out your politics to Brussels, and your souls to Rome. Puppets.
@@KR-us9pj and wtf do you know about Ireland you amadán?
Brexit border in sea but Northern Irelands border is same place it's always been and Irish guardi would not stop NI cars crossed over if no land border except when it comes to industrial sabotage pushing EU goods instead of British ones into NI
It's not the Irish border, it's a British border in Ireland.
There is no Irish border. It is the EU's border. Ireland threw away it's independence in 1975. Occupation on the left bank - freedom on the right bank.
There is no border because Ulster is Irish Sovereignty President Michael D Higgins is president of all Ireland Constitutionally and this is Never going to Change
Belfast is in Ireland

Nice to see the British Army destroying Railway Bridges. A great way of building Bridge’s for peace.
Please correct the video title. It should read 'British Imposed Border' not 'Irish Border'
getting a border on the island or Ireland would be a disaster.
ONE UNITED IRELAND, IRELAND FOR THE IRISH SHOULD HAVE REMAINED THAT WAY FROM TIME BEGAN.
Lovely village and could be great fun in tourism.
Very very much beautiful city
Two different traditions one people move on get along
Just live in peace.
Wise words from Ricky j, he's up there with Gandhi, mlk,Mandela, if only the world would listen to Ricky j.
They do!
Why is it an Irish border is it divides a village.
It’s a county boundary to begin with. Fermanagh Donegal. The only ones that seem to get worked up are the media and career politicians. Most people just get on with it. Pay in euros in pettigo Pay inbounds in Kesh. Psni one side. Garda the other. No big deal at the end of the day. Most people get on and want to get on with each other. Only these journalists want to come in and hype things up and then go away again.
Utter Nonsense on a small Island.
@@georgebrowne5935 tell the British and unionists that
@@donnachamcgowansure there's 2 borders on the island of Great Britain
I saw the A series, then the cooper S.! The official religion of Ireland should be rallying 😂😂. That'll be a unity no idiology could dismantle
Such naivety as of this division was something to be cherished. This country is Ireland
Northern Ireland is Irish land that the birits still occupy to this day
Well they might need the customs posts again
that would be a disaster
Nope. Northern Ireland is still in the EU...London gets it panties in a twist about that. "The backstop"
EIRE TAL 32 ULSTER IS IRISH
Brits out of Ireland.
Ireland out of Britain. Seriously, they’re are a lot more Irish people in Britain than the other way round.
@@claretblue2509 Then maybe they should carve off a bit, say north London, rename it KillyLondon. Looks like they want to be in the E.U. anyway. Fair swap?
@@CharlieOBrienTF sure if we filled in your role of terrorising innocent people we call it the ERA (because we have fragile egos) , blowing up emergency veichles, buses, causing riots, smuggling illegal migrants, ignoring your leading referendum to remain Unionist, and make sure you bail out our banks when the euro… I mean pound doesn’t do the trick. Fair is fair right? . It wouldn’t bother me, north London is shithole we lost it years ago to immigrants. why would it affect me on your right to remain unionist with Ireland if I don’t live there?
@@CharlieOBrienTF the difference is Northern Irish people are Irish ancestry they just want a British identity, Funnily enough the “Irish” in London aren’t British though.
@@claretblue2509 the people in Northern Ireland that want to stay in the UK are the decendents of English and low lands Scots that were planted in the province in the plantation of Ulster 400 years ago. Many to this day don’t even want to be known as Irish.
