Not only Chester had an amazing voice. He had an amazing respect in covering songs.
I wasn't at this concert but I did see them live once in 2014 at the Ziggo Dome in my home country. My friends surprised me with tickets for the show for my Birthday. They are incredible live. I'll always cherish those memories. Especially now knowing that Chester is gone forever.

Chester was so talented.. his songs and the lyrics especially and the way he sang really hits different now.. like it almost feels like several of his songs were almost like calls and cries for help so sad..
I saw them in 2003 for their Live in Texas in Dallas concert. Check out that video. It was by far the best concert I've ever been to. Everyone in the crowd just enjoyed the music no one fought or was being mean. If someone fell down or was having problems everyone around them would help. They were singing live and not lip syncing. I can't believe I will never see them in concert again. I won't ever be able to take my daughter to one and show her a legend. I can only hope and pray Chester is free of pain now. oh and today (3-20-22), HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHESTER!
I meet them in concert in 2004 in San Antonio and it was the best and one of the greatest moments of my life. There will never be anyone like chester and he will truly be missed.
You have to do “Papercut” and “Points of Authority” both great songs and Chesters vocals 🔥

Chester was my favorite artist for a reason, this is only a fraction of what he was capable of. IMO as a LP fan, the 3 of the perfect songs that showcase his abilities are From The Inside, Given Up, and QWERTY, plus, they're also in my top 10 LP songs lol

R.I.P. Chester Bennington. Im not one of those people,who,ever thought,I'd say or admit,a song or musician, got me thru anything. This dude,and his music def saved my shit a time or 2. Thank yall for reacting to him! His voice is/was EPIC!!! Yall should react to "The Messenger".
Also I'll leave two recommendations for songs. The first is Linkin Park's song ''A Line in the Sand'' it's a slept on Masterpiece. The second is a song by Deftones one of Chester's favorite bands he was inspired by. The song is ''Prayers/Triangles'' and definitely check out the music video if possible.

LInkin Park Given up is one of his darkest songs it really helped me out with knowing a lot of other people can feel that way and the song fucking slaps, you guys gotta check it out

I think Chester was singing in a higher key then they originally intended. That’s why the piano guy was like “ huh” you can see him in the background smiling so that’s why I think he told him to “ come here” . He probably told him you’re singing in a higher key go a little lower” . But great cover!

And I agree that there will never be someone that talented like Chester everytime he started to sing it was like.. more then music it was like magic and still is and nothing will change that. And I also wanted to ask you guys if you will try to react or some other bands. I got 2 bands in my head right now it's the Hollywood undead and Skillet. They're both great in my opinion. Hey Recklezz I may have posted before (can't remember) but I couldn't agree more!!! This is without a doubt Chester's song to me from now on!!! I honestly can't even listen to Adele singing this anymore (and I love her singing and songs!).
IMHO, some of the greatest songs by writers who are legends, aren't meant to get the most out of the best and most personal songs. Two examples are Whitney singing "I Will Always Love You" and Sinead "Nothing Compares to You"! Those are 2 legendary songs written by Dolly & Prince. However, it just isn't the same when they sing them. This is how I truly think and feel when I hear Adele's version now.
P.S. Rolling in the Deep (by Adele) was one of my favorite songs of the last decade+. Now, I always prefer to listen to this version!
