He was other worldly. An all timer singer, who aspired to improve. You are right, his pure vocal ability was at it's peak from 2003 to 2012. Absolute excellence. Improved a lot after Hybrid Theory. He struggled a bit afterwards, which was understandable, knowing how mental health+age can affect all that energy and pitch, but even during the end of his career, he was giving some pretty good performances.
Faint has been one of my favorite LP songs since I first heard it back in 2002/2003. I had Chester screaming as my alarm clock for 5+ years. For some it would probably scare the hell out of them but it "woke" me up in the morning.

He had an extremely skilled and healthy scream, so he wasn't damaging his voice doing it every night, but everyone's voice gets tired after singing for an hour/90 minutes. He still put out that same energy at the end of the set, with no fatigue other than some breathlessness. Without that outro, you wouldn't know if that was the last song or the third song.
I am so happy that I saw them Live in 2008! It was my very first concert and it was a concert I'll never forget! I Love Linkin Park and it is my alltime favourite Band!

Good show for sure. Bad Venue. Arenas suck for rock music. You can hear the excessive reverb in this clip. You want a bowl. Rose Bowl if you can afford it. In open arenas, the closer to open air the better. Floor seats suck in arenas.
