Made these in 50 gram molds with the recipe doubled and they were a very pleasant level of sweet. Not too sugary, which isn't the usual in the US. I really liked them with another strawberry to nibble on and I wish I had a little whipped cream. If I could offer critique, for some novices like me steaming the skin was confusing because I didn't know what setting to keep the stove at once the water was boiling. Worked out fine in the end, skin tasted like mochi and I love mochi so yeah. Thank you for the recipe!

Here's a nice tip: If you don't want it to stuck like crazy at the end like it did in the video, just cook your glutinous rice flour in a pot (high heat) until the color becomes a little bit yellow.

If you are making them a couple days in advance you can freeze them- this preserves the texture of the skin, but i'd recommend filling it with a strawberry jam as the whole strawberry won't be as fresh!

They look great! Just a tip, use corn flour instead of glutinous rice flour. GR flour isn’t actually safe to eat raw.

As long as the strawberry isn't too tall, and fits in the mooncake mould you shouldn't have any problems!
