@@DreamVisionCreationsTutorials hmm that’s really interesting ... I might buy a semi toony skull and I didn’t know you had to glue it in the sides and not the bottom.. I am just paranoid because I want it to be secure and not fall of 🤣 even though it will most likely be fine .
hi there DVC. I'm thinking of buying a corvid head base but in the photos on the internet, there isn't any resin backing to glue them on. Would you just put glue around the eye socket? thanks, Tyler.
Commenting this here because comments are disabled on all your furring videos. I feel like I'm being really stupid because as far as I can tell, nobody else has had this problem but I was a little bit confused by something when it comes to furring resin heads. on the jaw of a fursuit there is always that gap at the back of where the mouth opens, also where the hinges go (Hopefully you know what I'm talking about!). how do you fur that? The way I've thought its done is that you just kind of leave that gap and fur the rest of the head but then you'd have a big gap in the fur and it would look silly. do you just do that but get really long fur for the cheeks and cover the gap by pointing the fur downwards? I appreciate any help and I hope this makes sense!
if you want to put in things like magnetic eyelids/brows would the magnets be able to go through the resin or would you put the magnets just underneath the fur?
As somebody who wants to make a realistic fursuit this is very helpful tysm!
Glad I could help!
real excited to get my corvid base to start my Kenku cosplay!
do you have a video on how to fur a moving jaw?
We do have some videos on how to make patterns, sewing the fur, and attaching here on our channel
Commissioning my suit this year, can’t wait!
Why can't you glue the bottom? Im guessing it will screw up the paint
+Stone Umbreon Correct; if you had to readjust them or they got pulled off some, you'd rip your paint right off

Hey dreamvisions! How would I install the larger eyes, like the 2" resin eyes?
cut out the cheek, eye and brow area to make it larger for a 2" eye install. here is a picture: www.furaffinity.net/view/14736896/
if you want to put in things like magnetic eyelids/brows would the magnets be able to go through the resin or would you put the magnets just underneath the fur?
If the magnet is strong enough it should go through the resin just fine; it's not that thick.
what metallic paint brand do you use ? thanks :)
+Fasha Kitsune She uses Decoart. :)
+DreamVision Creations Tutorials thanks :)
Will you be bringing painted eyes back to the store? If not, do you know a good alternative or a nice way of doing that yourself?
We will hopefully sometime in the future, just right now we've been too busy to offer them since they do take a while.
How would you attach the eyes on your corvid blank if you want to also do the back painted acrylic eyes?
You just glue the eyes in from the inside of the mask
Am I supposed to put foam on the base or no?
Im working on a base and im not sure if im supposed to put foam on the base
if it is resin we recommend foam padding. any foam on the outside is up to you. ~Monoyasha
this still active? need to know how to repair a fractured jaw, no chipping or splintering just a clean fracture near the spring
If you ever have any construction questions, you can always e-mail flurry@dreamvisioncreations.com
What size eyes would you recommend for your corvid mask, in making SkekMal and not sure of the eye size I need
i recommend adding a plate behind the eye are so you can attach a smaller 3.8cm eye
@@DreamVisionCreationsTutorials thank you so much!
Can u paint the resin base?
You can with any paint that works on plastic after washing it off
Good Nice 👍
What paints do recommend using that works the best?
Any acrylic paint will work; we use americana
Is this the large K9 resin base or small K9 resin base?
This is a limited small k9
what type of glue sticks do you use i cant seem to find them
We use an industrial hot glue. It's yellow, not clear, and meant for work on plastic
How do you put in led eyes
+MoonStone That is a tutorial we have planned a bit later, when we also cover fan install.
They put that on the monoyosha channel (their other channel)
